Has anyone ever tried using a hot glue gun to fix your broken plastic??? I did it today & it seems to be stronger then the the plastic it's self...Will,let you know more when I go to put it together tomorrow.....I have 2-54b's & each had a tab broke off the side panels that run along the bottom front & also one of the same panels had a broken piece thats screws to the grill in the front of the radiator...It seems to be very strong, like I said I will let you all know when I put them together tomorrow...Rcq78

I had a couple screw-hole tabs that were PARTIALLY broken, and backing them with another piece of plastic and copious Gorilla Glue seems to have worked out fine so far. On my Magnum I had a big crack in the rear panel, big enough that I used a fiberglass patching kit; that produced what appears to be a really strong repair.

I'm not talking about gluing panels together..I'm talking about gluing the broken tabs back on to the panel they came off of...You would do this after removing the panels, not doing in with the panels still on the scoot...

Assume that response was for Scot. Those tabs, both the slip-in ones and the ones a screw goes through, take a fair amount of stress, will be interested to read how your hot glue idea works out after some road miles. If it stands up under the bumps and vibrations, thumbs up for the idea.
