Yea don't forget you drained the gas out of the carb and if even if the gas is by the pump it will take some cranking to get the fuel to the carb and fill it up. Now you can help it by PRIMING the carb, like I told you before and you did and we got it started. Turn the little hose that is CURVED down up and pour 1 1/2 ozs of fuel down into it like you did before.

Listen to Alley Mimi,...take your time,...the scoot won't start immediately after cleaning the carb,.. gas has to pump thru the petcock/vacuum fuel pump for a bit to start unless you prime it like Alley instructed,...there is a possibility that the petcock/fuel pump is bad,..but go step by step,...there is a free troubleshooting manual for the GY6 online if you need it,...it may even be here on the forum Alley can narrow it down quicker than anyone I have talked to,..but you have to be patient,...he is not there right with you to diagnose your problem and fix it in 20 minutes like he was next to your scoot,..he goes by what you tell him Tell him everything you can,..it will help him help you get back to scootin'!!

Tomorrow I am going to spend the day working on the bike. Im going step by step. The first thing I need to do, is make sure I attached the carb correctly. I'm afraid that I didn't play close enough attention when I pulled the hoses off. Alley has been a wonderful teacher. He knows im learning and he explains everything. . So lets keep our fingers crossed. .

Do you have the fuel ratio screw out at least 2 to 2 1/2 turns out? If so try turning the IDLE SPEED screw 1/16-1/8 clockwise turn.

Im pretty sure I do but let me go check now...My main thing is Im afraid I don't have the right hoses connected to the correct nipples...At this point the theory of relatively is easier to figure out...

Make sure your Vacuum is hooked up to the "T" 1 hose goes to carb and the other hose to the fuel pump: The only other hose is the FUEL HOSE from the pump to the Carbs Fuel Inlet that is it Alleyoop

When I prime the motor (gas in the fuel hose & the u shaped hose) it will start but it wont stay started. It is possible that I missed something putting the carb back together? I have pics but can I just email them to you please?
