Rode trike the other day for the first time wearing gloves (it's getting cold here in Michigan). Pulled into store parking lot & the trike just quits. Crank, crank, crank but no start. Checked plug/coil wire to see if had jarred loose, was secure. Figure I'm screwed, will have to walk home & make arrangements to trailer the trike home. Then I noticed it. The freakin' kill switch was in the off position! Must have hit it accidentally with gloved thumb when turning into the lot. So, fellow riders, just a heads-up when wearing gloves. Keep the big-ass glove thumb away from the kill switch. On my previous scoot (RH50) the engine wouldn't crank if the kill switch was in the off position. Should the trike work the same way? Or is it normal on Chinese scoots for the starter to be "live" even though the kill switch is deployed?

Most two wheelers crank with the kill switch turned to off. It's a famous prank to do that to someone on a motorcycle. Not a nice prank, but a famous one.

I still manage to hit that button now and then. If it wont crank that is the first thing I check.

Is there an easy mod to have the starter NOT crank when the kill switch is deployed? That was a really nice feature to have.
