I can't find my ad card adapter so I can upload the pics, but when the engine mark lines up with the t on the flywheel, the big hole on the cam sprocket is in the front and the two small holes are on the sides. So the timing is right, I guess.

I'll take some better pictures tomorrow when the sun is out and post them up for you. I'm also gonna spray some carb cleaner around the intake and vacuum lines while it's idling to see if it changes any.

It could also be your diaphragm take the diaphragm and needle from the other carb and put it in the current carb. Give that a shot. If the diaphragm is leaking it would also act like that. It would rise and then loose the air pressure and it would drop down cutting off the fuel then build up enough pressure again and repeat the up and down.

Well I have to tell you the truth that is a new one on me. But you can easily try it, disconnect the headlights they are the ones that draw the most juice. Did you try swapping the diaphragm from the old carb to the new carb, don't forget to use the spring from the old one as well. That is what pushs the needle down when you close the throttle.
If it's the Flywheels magnets that is causing this we will all learn something. Alleyoop

You're never gonna believe it, but unplugging the headlights worked! It still want's to keep revving a little once I let off the throttle, but I'm sure that's because we've been messing with the carb the last few days.

Now I just gotta put it alllll back together. I hope that's the same problem my other scooter has. Fingers crossed! I have to get a tap and die set so I can fix the male threads on the crank arm so I put that center nut on that holds the flywheel on there.

Just want to thank you for all you're help, buddy! I'll def be sticking around these forums. I would like to do a big bore sometime soon. Got a lot of hilly terrain around here, and need a little extra to help me get up them.
