Replaced the front tire with a Shanko, & balanced, rides a lot smoother. Major improvement !

I just bought a 2012 Jonway YY250T . Since I have never been on a scooter before my husband drove it back from where we bought it about 60 miles. When we got it home it smelled like it was hot. The thermostat was just fine. I did email the guy we got it from and told him about it and he said yeah it was ok, it will happen. So being new never having a scooter before I am sure I will be asking a lot of questions. Thanks for your help everyone. Paula from Mo

hello, Just joined the site recently. My wife was given a 2011- Jonway YY250t with <500 miles. I've changed all the fluids and have it running (sometimes). I've tried multiple times to adjust the idle - doesn't seem to work. One time I did get it to idle at 1700. the next morning I started it it wouldn't idle. Once it warmed up, it will start pretty easy, when cold complete crap shoot if it start let alone idle. Can use starter fluid to start - not ideal. I have replaced most of the vacuum lines. I've seen the video about switching over to electric fuel pump, anyone else done this? First, I want to get it to start and idle everytime. Wife is itching to ride before weather changes. any suggestions? thanks rich46, alleyoop, JR, cruiser, avds4u, dragonsparks
