I have a Mikuni on my bike now, had to be towed home the other day, it kept on stalling about 10 times in a 8 mile run, check and replace some vacuum lines, checked and made sure we had spark, took off gas line at carb, tryed cranking it over nothing came out, after awhile a little came out, added gas right in carb, started right up, hook on gas line back then after alot of cranks, it started, back on the road for two day, starting again, it starts from 50mph, I wish I could find out what it is???

Crazy as this may sound, but when you changed your gas filter did you install with the flow going to the fuel pump?

Have you checked the flow of gas from the tank to the pump? Something may be in the tank that is slowly chocking off the gas supply to the pump.

I just did a post called "A problem and the fix with a 250B". You should read it.
In the end, basically i stated that my problem, almost same as yours, I was flooding the engine. You might be running too rich as well.
Have you messed with your jets at all. you might have to drop a size or look at your choke.

Scooteraddict, thanks for the info, I''l check your post, I recently changed my fuel lines from tank to fuel filter, to pump, I took off all fuel lines and replaed with 1/4 lines, I didn't use the fram filter it was to big, I just wonder if you have the mine fuel line that goes to pump to carb, off at carb and your cranking the motor will gas pump out?

check the engine compression/ and spark plug ...see when going uphill, you tendency is to gas up, now if the compression is bad and or the spark plug doesn't give out proper amount of spark to burn the gas,you will surely run sluggish and eventually stall...i don't think fuel delivery is the problem.

Update: my 250cc roketa scooter running good, about 2 weeks ago, I remove my air box, before a had some holes and didn't remove it, M y buddy tar it, because the trouble I was having I decided to remove it and go over that hole area and discovered my hoses were very loose, tighten up everthing real good, that I think fixed the problem. (Thanks everyone) Rich
