Greetings from Jupiter Fl!! I'm a first time scooter owner. I just ordered a Znen scooter (motorino Cassini model ZN150T-18 engine BN157QMJ-3) I have not received it yet, coming from Valley Scooters. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I heard this is a good scooter coming out of China, we'll see. I have some mechanical experience but not in this field. Anyways if you guys have any advice I would greatly appreciate it. God Bless

Congratulations on your purchase of a nice scoot and WELCOME TO THE FORUM.
First thing you want to do is find the Battery prepare that and put it on Charge.
Then you can start your PDI, check it over make sure hoses are all connected, Vacuum hoses emission hoses etc.. Makeing sure the bolts and screws are nice and tight. Also change out the oil the tranny you can do that on your next oil change which should be around 200 miles. Change the oil about every 200-300 miles until you get close or 1000 miles on it then you can change it at 500 or every 1000 miles. They only take 3/4 of a quart and that and air is the only thing that cools the motor. So it is a cheap investment to help the motor keep cool.
If you find hoses that are not connected and are not sure where they plug into just take pictures and put them up here and we will tell you where they go. Alleyoop

Thanks for the support, John had me a little scared there.. I thought I made a mistake with this type of scooter. I will certainly do a full inspection (PDI) I was also advised to change the oil and transmission before running it. The fluids that it comes with are really not up to standards.

Brake fluid can wait, not many will change that out unless they have problems with the brake and even then only if they are loosing brake fluid from leaks or whatever. Reason is it is a PITA to get the air out of the system. If they are working good If it Ain't broke don't fix it. Not to many people know how to bleed a brake system. Alleyoop

I had a ZN150T, great bike. Only thing I ever had to do to it was adjust the valves. Now my son and daughter-in-law have it. Strong running machine.
