Unbelievealbe it was 60+ degrees here today and then it started to thunder lighting and raining cats and dogs. Finally just about an hour ago it settled down and is just a easy rain. But I will take this instead of 1 or 2 feet of snow(HAHA). Alleyoop

Well guys still here and over all a good night. From what I've gathered two confirmed tornados last night but no lives lost and minimal damage. Grateful for the rain we are still behind. Weather is supposed to turn back to normal.

Not fond of tornados my self. Over the years have been thru 3 of them. Think the worst of it is going to miss us here in NGA, going south of us. A lot of rain tho so far.

We have had at least two tornados around us today. Two fatalities, Adairsville, Ga. hard hit. Here and to the south around Atlanta extremely heavy rain at times and steady rain starting around noon. Result is a lot of flooded streets and rivers coming up rapidly. And we still have Feb. and March to go. Tomorrow the temps start downward.

Not that cold here but clear, lows in the 20's tonight. Saw that in Georgia Wolf, so sorry to hear it. Stay safe.

33 this morning, very windy but no damage that I can see. Can tell more when the sun comes up. We have been very lucky over the years here. Seem to be missed by tornados that hit close by.

We started with 65 degrees. The temps were supposed to drop over night. About 4 AM, we got slammed with high winds and cold. Back near where we used to live (close to richardthescooter) they had a gust clocked at 69 mph. I had to run to the grocery store. As I was walking in, a gust came in the door and ripped out some ceiling panels. We also had heavy rains that caused the largest local stream to flood out the road yesterday. Forecast is for 20's for Groundhog Day.
