Small guides for the side case or Cvt cover or big guides for the head. If side case you may get oil leaks. Alleyoop

Alleyoop I E-mailed you a picture of the motor to see if you can give me some insight about the hoses. I don`t know if you can see anything. I`m not too good with the camera. Never have been and never will.

I got this picture and have a couple of questions about the hoses connections. Is there a VACUUM line connected to your PETCOCK someplace? Q1.The hose along the frame that appears to be plugged up WHAT is that coming from? Q2. The VACUUM line making a big loop looks like it is going to the carb what is that connected to? Alleyoop

Yes there is a line going to the petcock. You just can`t see it. The bottom line go\es from the intake manifold back to the small nozzle on the carb next to the drain hose. the top one goes up to the top of the fuel tank.

You cannot plug up the ONE coming from the top of the fuel tank that is the VENT for the fuel tank. If it does not vent NO GAS WILL FLOW out of the tank. what you want to do with that is put a Fuel filter on it and then zip tie it to the frame HIGH so if for any reason you overfill it or splashing around gas gets into that line it does not come out and maybe hit a hot spot and start a fire.
The other one that you say is connected to a nipple on the CARB I question. Normally there is only one connector on the bottom of the carb and that is to drain the CARB BOWL.
The Only Carbs I have ever seen that need VACUUM is if they have an ACV VALVE which are on the RIGHT SIDE of the carb up high. But yours does not have an ACV valve yours has a PUMP I am sure. Can you take a picture of that side of the carb? Alleyoop

Hi Danso, I got the carb pic and replied yes take it off and plug it up by the manifold and you will have a nice piece of hose for some other use.
No spark, do you have the KILLSWITCH on the run position and sidestand up some have a killswitch on the sidestand. Also check the ground wire from frame to motor otherwise it will not spark. Alleyoop
