So I thought I may have a tire pressure issue. but i played with it for hours and found I am happy with it and my front end feeling loose was the sam no matter what i did to the tires. It feels like the tire/wheel is moving (just barely) and the handle bars are not. like there is some play. i checked parked and doesn't seem to move at all. I thought it could be wind but ive been riding for months in bad wind and didnt feel this. i only feel it over 40mph. any ideas. its got me scared to ride

i say you need to check the bearings for you forks and the bolts that hold the lower part of the forks along with the bolt that holds the handle bars on

Couple of other possibilities, the tire may have become unbalanced which can happen as a tire wears, or you might be leaking fork oil........

Front wheel bearings. If the front end is tight at the steering head but the wheel can be moved your bearings probably are worn.

You didn't skid the front and flat spot the tire did you? 700 miles is pretty low for wheel bearings unless they were installed dry.

no i dont think i did. and i fixed it. it was a bolt/nut that goes through bar where the handlebars meet the fork pole. thats scary man. i can't beleive its held together by a bolt >>> shakes head
