I was riding home and the bike tried to stall, got a block from home and it did. I was able too restart it but any atempt to use the throttle and she die's. one time it started and rpm's went up to 3,000 on a warm engine. I know i need to due the valves, I'm thinking intake manifold or something in the carb. Any Idea's i'm thinking carb diaphram.
Ride safe Bill

Sounds like a tear in the diaphragm or the main jet is totally clogged. Had that happen about a year ago, cleaned the gunk out of the jet and added seafoam and all was well.

just an update i replaced the clip and cleaned the carb out, it looked spotless. I can get it too fire up but try and give it gas of any kind and it dies. If i so much as touch the throttle it dies. any idea's??

I had the same problem just not as sensitive. I changed my carb and the problem was fixed. Is it flooding?

Did you adjust the valves? It sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Spray WD-40 around the carb and intake and then listen for any hissing noises that indicate a hose with a crack.
