Hello scooterists, fflintstone here ,and I have come up with a problem with my Roketa that I don't usually see on a bike--lens clouding--my tail light lens is supposed to be clear but lately I noticed that it has turned cloudy, looks like dust has collected inside..well,I removed it last week and found no dust ,but the lens looked like dust was inside the plastic material itself--since my scoot is a 2008 model,I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem? Besides being downright ugly,it does dim the light from the tail light ..I tried using some auto lens cloud remover but no luck ...any ideas ? I've been checking for a replacement, but haven't found a good source yet...say Jrr,got any used ones laying about ?Thanks for listening ,fflintstone

Why not go to Rocketa and see what they have? They brought in thousands of these scoots and they advertize parts. Go to Rocketa and then browse the list of scoots till you find yours. Click on the parts list. Look for what you want and write it down. Next you will need to register to get to the parts for sale area. I am all ready for anything I need but so far have not ordered anything.
Maybe some one can also offer a parts store locally. .

fflintstone, mine is the same way, it almost looks like they smeared something on the inside the tail lens, I'm going to replace it soon

Thanks everyone for the info--hey richardthescooter3,hope you are doing well...I took my tail light assembly apart and separated the lens from the lights and tried to clean the cloudiness off with auto headlight lens cleaner--it seemed to help a little but the dirty look to the lens is still there--so I guess it gotta be replaced..I see they offer a complete tail light assembly at one place but I don't need the whole assembly, just the lens ,so I guess I will keep looking...btw,it is not really hard to remove the tail light assembly ,just take the rear license and light assembly off first and you can look up in there and see most of the screws and bolts-again ,thanks all,and if someone does have an extra lens handy ,I would like to offer to buy it--ffintstone

I tried Roketa parts and they offer the whole assembly for a pretty high price, but I don't really need the assembly ,just the lens that snaps onto the assembly...btw--I went and got some 1157R LED tail light bulbs from O'Reilly's and installed them--with the 250B it is simple install, just take the cover out under the seat ,2 bolts, and you can see the lights, just twist and lift out--only problem I see is they don't seem to be as bright as regular 1157 bulbs, probably because they are already red..nice seeing you on here again richardthescooter, and thanks to all the others that took the time to offer good ideas--fflintstone,keep scootin

Mr fflintstone I have a clear cover on my yy250t MB-50? But after replacing 2 bulbs from under seat the left Amber turn signal lens dropped off and is now rattling around in between clear lens and other reflectors for 3 other bulbs 4 total 2 amber outer 2 red inner is there an easy way to remove clear cover to put left amber disc back in? Thank You Very a Much Sin., Dylan/Imp69/Chicago Il.

In a similar situation I wrapped some duct tape BACKWARDS (sticky side out) around the end of a brass welding rod, and used it to fish something out of the inside of a light unit. Sort of like one of those magnet things, but with a sticky end. Took a few tries but eventually got it.

To get to the inside of the lens you must remove it by taking the screws out of the area around the license plate holder by first removing the license plate holder and accessing the screws up under there--you need a good light and a lot of patience and Phillips screw drivers--or,you can fish it out like elpee says---just be careful of the plastic tabs under there--oh,another more involved was is to remove the seat and undo the cargo area and lift up off the scoot--not an easy job--good luck, fflintstone
