OK my bad, the linhai spark plug is on the right side and you have two options, lay on the floor and reach it from the bottom or take the right side bottom trim panel off and get to it a little easier.
I always thought the little side door which is useless to me was for the vertical engine.?

there is a small access panel under the seat that you can get to the plug if you have VERY small hands and arms. I have always found it is just easier to take the Air box off to get to the plug to replace it.

damin69, that sounds like a good idea. Something I may try if I ever get enough time on my engine. I was thinking that I could do it through the under seat opening using a long extension with a swivel connector to the socket.
JR, hozers engine is the vertical Honda clone engine, not a Linhai horizontal engine. Sounded on your last post that you might have been confused. I hope not. .

Thanks Bob, no I knew it was the vertical engine after he posted that. But the body is the same and I was just pointing out that the little side panel door that is on the left side with the one screw is on both scooters.
I thought this was how you accessed the plug on the vertical moto engine but for sure it's useless on the linhai because the plug is on the other side on that engine! LOL

The mysterious side door to nowhere. Just remember that this bodywork is a clone of the Honda Reflex. The Honda Reflex had a horizontal engine like the Linhai except the plug is on the other side. So this panel worked for the original Honda Reflex only.

Ok stupid question.... I've been wanting to change the gear oil but have no idea where it's located. Anyone have a picture of where the gear oil is and how to change it? (YY250T model)

Ok stupid question.... I've been wanting to change the gear oil but have no idea where it's located. Anyone have a picture of where the gear oil is and how to change it? (YY250T model) Sorry I do not have much time but will try and put a quick blurb in. In the picture above you can see the gear lube coming out this is the drain bolt. The open bolt hole above the the filler hole. To get to this you must remove the 2 bolts that hold on the CVT cover. Once the cover is off you will see the bolts I am talking about. On the yy250t you just fill it until the lube starts coming back out. Hope that helps.

Thanks Damin I'll try and do that tonight. What type of gear oil should I get to refill? And uh... where do I fill it? I'm only about 3 weeks old on this whole scooter thing after driving a car for the last 15 years
