First question: When talking about the CVT area, I have a mc-54-250b roketa scooter, Would a 835-20-30 drive belt fit my scooter

Scecond Question: I know there is one fuse on my right side of my battery, I never looked. But do I have a fuse box in this roketa and if I do Where in the world is it (I know I should know this, just call me dumb ;D

First question = no, belt is 856-23-30 or 871-23-30 last one will give a tad of top end gain

Second question= no, scooter has one 15A fuse right by battery which comes off of ignition key switch. Second fuse is a 20A located right on the starter relay body comes right off of the battery and goes to the ignition key switch, it blows scooter is totally dead.

The other sister to this scooter the yy250T has a fuse box it's also the MC-54-250 (no B)

I have a 2008 MC 54 250B and it has a fuse box. Lift the seat. Remove the battery cover. On the left side of the battery, at the rear of the battery is a small rectangular box about 1 1/2 inch in size. Pry the lid off and inside are 4 active fuses and two spares. All 1o amps.

Front fuse = light
Second = horn, meter, winker reply
Third = brake switch
Fourth = cooling fan

That is the label that goes with them.

Thanks JR, I thought I was going nuts ,I know I'm already there I was asking bobf because my mp3 player won't come on, thought it may be a fuse Wednesday I'm getting into my cvt clutch and on other forum a man had that belt new, didn't need it and would give it free, just cost of shipping, so I didn't know what size I had.

Nope Sorry Bob you can argue this all you want and there 3 owners of an exact scooter just like your's on this forum that will tell you you have the 244cc Cf Moto clone known better as the YY250T scooter or the MC-54-250. It has a fuse box.


The 250B has no fuse box, own one and also the 250A no fuse box. The 250B and the 250A has the lnhai and that is what Richard's scooter is the linhai.

The linhai versions don't have all this fuse box stuff and has the larger stator and no charging problems like your Moto version. Also has the fan located in front of the gas tank and has none of the cooling issues like on the Cf Moto version.

This lady here has the 250A and it is linhai own one of those too an exact copy of the 250B with the linhai again own both, no fuse box, and Richard you will find both fuse just like I told you on your scooter.

She doesn't need to look for a fuse box because she doesn't have one.

One more time if the 20A fuse on the starter relay blows the scooter is dead period! We have the correct wiring diagram for each scooter in the tech section and it's original unlike the ones that others copy.

Richard some of the radio/MP3 players have a little bitty inline fuse right by the radio module behind the front headlight cowling and sorry to say the only way to access it is to remove the windsheild and the top black cover over the speedo. If you can't reach it from there then the whole front has to come off.

Mine does not have this small fuse, some do some don't?

JR, I have the Roketa MC 54 250B, It has the Honda clone 244 cc engine that I always say it has. It has a fuse box. Roketa does not even talk about 250 A or B. It has these machines listed under different ID's in its catalogs.

First this is the Honda clone machine.

Second is the Lihai machine.

My machine is a MC 54 250B. Please don't tell me it isn't what my machine is called. And it does have a Honda clone. It also has the YY250T badge on it. Way too much confusion over the 250 A & B and not actually recognized by Roketa. Have your friends check their 54 to see if a B is also there. That seems to be the way Roketa identifies them.

And for the tomorrow and maybe longer, I will be in the hospital for a roto rooter procedure followed by a kidney blast to break up more of those rambling rocks in my kidneys.

How do I get rid of that unreadable attachment of my mfg plate? I don't remember even putting it there.

Bob you engine is a CF moto clone vertical engine! it is not a honda clone for the Honda reflex. The Honda reflex has a horizontal engine. Again your version is vertical. Honda did put a vertical engine in the helix.



The cfMoto vertical engine is a clone of the Helix engine not the reflex.

Only the body is a reflex clone. Go back and you'll even see a picture by Rich who knows nothing about the scooter;

Your scooter is mislabeled, always has been. Roketa doesn't make any of these scooters they are only a seller! They have so many specs on this scooter that they don't even know what it is.

You also told this lady with the 250A that they were honda driven! Just not so again Bob I own one.

They for a very short time came out with the same CFmoto vertical clone engine you have but they were a POS and they went to linhai.

Only the body style is Reflex and it's a clone! Not one REFLEX clone scooter has a HONDA reflex engine.

The YY250T is the correct label for your scooter. When they assembled these they mixed all the labels up! I can show you a YY250T even with a linahi.

Plain and simple youre scooter is a plain 250.

I have a picture too, will find it for you red MC-54-250B linhai.

Besides the lady that needed help on the 250A has a linhai so no need to tell her to look for a fusebox? Doesn't have one.

I guess what I have is labeled a GY6 on it, don't really care if it is Honda or CF Moto as it is a vertical engine. Apparently you don't care what Roketa calls them but it does make more sense that all this nonsense about A or B. I wish I could really understand all I read about scooters on the web sites. Seems to be lots of different stories no matter where I look.

My mistake if I said Honda to the poster. I was just talking vertical motors vs Linhai. Just more of my confusions. Where are the stories about the Honda parts for fixing this vertical motor. I was led to believe it was a Honda clone, not something else. CF Moto is a water cooled engine source. But also was under the idea they had permission from Honda to build this engine. Similar to Yamaha and Linhai agreements to build engines. Oh well. JCL, Roketa, Jonway, and others all seem to be working the same factories. Such a mess it is.

I modifed my response above Bob. The Cfmoto vertical engine like yours is a copy of the Honda Helix engine not the reflex.

So lots of people say go look at the helix manual and the CFmoto V-5 manual on the engine. They don't even have manuals for our scooters with any engine info.

Yes it's a confusing mess for sure.

Good luck on the stones and other things and don't get caught in the hospital too long! It's riding time.

Alleyoop pointed me to your post. I am the woman that your link posted to. Do I understand this correct that there is a 20 amp fuse attached to the solenoid that is causing the problem? Is this one of the standard automotive blade type fuses or some other fuse? I will definately look at this when I get home from work tonite.

Yes it is. Also Welcome to the Forum! Just the standard blade type 20A fuse. The solenod relay is locted above the muffler in behind the right side back panel. It's not the easiest to get to but with some good light andf if you lay dwon and look up you'll see it. It also has a fuse holder for a spare fuse too.

This fuse feeds off of the red wire and goes straight to the key switch. If it blows the scooter is silent, dead.
