I'm just wondering im going to run my running lights off the battery by a toggle switch i can't see the rear bulbs without taking off plastic. This is my shortcut

I just discovered my Red R/R wire does not go to my battery so is it ok to spice into the red wire and run one to the battery Attachments:

ok yeah i see where i was wrong on the starter thanks for the eye opener. so shoud i splice a wire in the red R/R wire and run it to the battery? thanks for the help learning alot here

SO this is what this rookie is thinking since the R/R does not hook to the battery that means it gets its power from the stator to convert it into dc and the red that goes form the R/R turns into brown to my lights so what do the experts think

My key switch red must go to the battery since i get 13dcv with no key in it and not turned off so thats the 2nd red that has the fuse in it I GUESS

JR was saying it should trace to the positive side of the battery but it does not is this a problem

The red wire from the R/R clips into a Brown wire and goes upfront still trying to trace the others

I have been looking a parts matching mine and i think i have a 11pole stator and a six pin regulator i know the regulator is 6pin and the stator its a 4+2 wire harness so thats what i matched up on monster scooter parts so is that a miss match or does it work THANKS

not to seem dumb i am to the scoot world but how would you check the fuse and what do you look for i know the one in is a 15a 250v glass fuse what are you talkin about with heavier wire and switch. Thanks to everyone who has helped i am learning alot thanks to you guys

well now i know they are ac thanks now i need them to work so my stator is good battery still not charging. I have not checked my bulbs but i have checked the plugs that plug into them and no power at all so if they are ac and my battery is not charging that means the wires are getting no power. we are getting closer to victory Thanks for the help So whats next

yes my low/high beam switch does have a yellow wire along with a blue and white
