Lennie don't know what size you're using on your pictures but it's off the screen for me! I've even got the proboards code to reduce them automatically.
So lets review, like I said this scooter has been upgraded and not completed, no red to the battery equals no charge.
So it's a given that the 3 yellows plug into the 3 yellows from the stator and the single green plugs into the green from the stator.
Also make sure you have the R/R mounted to the frame and done in a way that it's grounded very well.
Then find the red wire with a fuse in it that goes to your igntion switch. Tie on to the red wire on your R/R and run it to the red wire that does go to the igntion switch from the battery BUT..... tie this wire in between the fuse and the igntion switch. That way if it was to go bad or short it will blow thew fuse instead of burning up something.
Now that leaves us with the black wire on the R/R . Find the black wire that comes off of the igntion key switch and tie it in there.
By doing this we should have a charging battery but we will need to check out the lights. If your hi/lo beam switch has a yellow wire running to it it feeds the lights. We will run it off of the AC side on one of the yellow wires or run it off of the battery with a relay that you will have to install. DC lights are brighter and stronger and you will be able to upgrade if you wish.
We will also locate the brown wire and wire it up for the other lights.
We're making progress!
