Ok I started getting the wot issue it would just cut off for a few seconds and if I let off the gas it would start going again. After removing and checking everything twice I tried to bypass the petcock and what do you know it fixed the problem. I test the petcock and it seems to be letting the gas flow with vacuum but i guess not fast enough... Does it hurt anything to bypass the petcock it seems to run fine now....
Next issue i have is I have found where the freaking squealing noise is coming from. its coming out of the clutch if i get off the bike and lean slightly to left I can hear the same noise as when driving it. Is something maybe rubbing on the clutch I have taken the cover off before and it seems to be working fine but the noise is bad and driving me nuts
After trying to find the issue of the shaking scooter I found that the rear tire had a bubble coming out of the side wall and the tires were cracking around sidewall like they were dry rotting. I ordered Shinko SR429 from motercycle superstore and ordered new valve stems.. after removing front tire the valve stem inside was almost cracked in half very brittle like dry rot... My take on the ice bear scooters they have been sitting in a warehouse for 5 years even the plastic is so brittle half of the tabs have broken off. Jim was great to work with but I would not recommend ice bear to anyone. Sorry but just stating the facts here is a list of stuff I have had to change. I only have 900 miles on the scooter and I got lucky that i didn't have a tire blow out..
new carburetor cdi coil and spark plug fuel lines front forks throttle control new rocker arms and valve cover gasket Both tires and valve stems
I have the new tire on now and just ran test run man what a difference it rides a lot smoother now and no shaking.

Ok I got my replacement forks in and installed and now it rides a lot smoother on bumps. but now I have a new problem with shaking at high speeds. it shakes so bad the two screws on the choke came off. It rides ok till i hit 38 to 40 mh and the whole bike just vibrates and shakes bout to rattle my teeth out. It does not feel like a tire wobble I thinks its coming maybe from engine mount I can raise scoot on stand and even when idling the back end bounces up and down. not sure if this is normal there was so much on this bike not installed right I wonder if the mount is wrong or missing something. I need pics of how the mount should look installed... I am bout ready to trash this scooter all I am doing is replacing parts every time I get on it to ride I have to take apart and fix something and the plastic is so cheap if you touch anything it just cracks or breaks. I was just unscrewing some of the body panels and a few of the plastic pieces just snapped off while unscrewing. The plastic is very cheap and brittle .. I think i am going to save up and buy the honda pcx 150

Oh and one more note I was missing a bolt on the valve cover. but later I was going to install the new coil and on the fan cover there was a bolt that was sticking out that would not screw in anymore and it was about half inch not all the way in yet.. well it was the bolt for the valve cover and the ground wire going to the motor was attached to the plastic shroud of the cover. Like plastic will ground anything lol Its been a learning experience to say the most. you just about have to go over every wire and bolt on these things..

Ok I will update on the scooter. The scooter started riding very rough I was driving and hit a small bump and the scooter felt like I jumped grand canyon. The scooter died right their and I found that the plug wire fell off and the metal piece stayed on the plug. I had some needle nose pliers and was able to shove the piece back in the boot just to get home. Later after investigating I found were oil was coming out of both front forks and the scooter just bottoms out. I called Jim- who was very helpful.. He called icebear and they are sending me new forks. Next issue my scooter got to were when I would go to wot the thing would bog down. And then I started hearing a tapping sound By the time I got home it was very loud. I pulled off the valve cover and the top valve tappet nut was gone.... I thought it had fell down in the motor but luckily it was sitting behind the cam shaft.Whew I ordered from scrappy dogs a new rocker assembly. I also ordered from ebay orange cdi and coil 20 bucks new carburetor for 28 bucks the ice bear had plate over the adjuster screw. I installed new 28 dollar carburetor and didn't have to even adjust it work like a charm. Waiting on my front forks should be in today With all the new parts everything sounds fine I hope with the tappet backing all the way out it didn't mess anything up because it was sure tapping loud Attachments:

Thanks JR you are the first person who could tell me where this line went to. I knew it had to go somewhere because it was blowing out air from it.. I had it hooked up to the fresh air side of the pair system I hope i didnt mess anything up. it would have been sucking in from the breather instead of fresh air..
Now that I got that figured out what should be at the end of the fresh air line. Right now it just has a reducer and hangs at the bottom of frame

The line that says crankcase breather.. wear does it connect to and the line that says fresh air does it just have a open line at the end when I got the scooter the fresh air line is big and at the end it goes to a reducer and just hanging at the bottom of frame and the crankcase breather line was just maybe six inches long and just hanging I had assumed it connected to the fresh air line at the reducer but after looking at pics I dont think so Attachments:

Update on the scooter. I had to replace the throttle control it fell apart after 2 days. I ordered from scrappy dogs for 5 bucks it was all metal instead of plastic and fit perfect. Thanks everyone on the pdi info because they were right make sure to tighten every bolt because I found some that were just hand started, fuel filter was installed backward, some of the fuel lines missing clips, a vacuum line unhooked, some of the plastic I had to trim with razor to fit. Even the solenoid the nuts holding the wires were barely on.
The scooter is still running great but I still do not have my paper work for the scooter to get registered. Jim is waiting on icebear to send him the paper work. Which sucks because I was hoping to have this done for the holiday I was going to ride.

Went out for a 20 mile ride today scooter starting to loosen up not as stiff and it runs very good. The motor will fire right up it will even kick start on the first try.. I found a very good article on how to use industrial Velcro to fix the loose floor Matt and I had to trim a few of the plastics to make fit right but all is good I am well pleased.. I hope to have bike broke in good I will be bringing it with me to Hot Springs AR for vacation to ride around on and site seeing.. I have not had to adjust the carburetor and I hope I dont have to since I dont have a tach to see what rpm is Attachments:

I found a stamp on the engine. Its a 157QMJ I am guessing this is a honda clone. After changing the oil I went out for my first real ride the scooter is very quite and will cruise around 45 mph with barely touching the gas. it climbed hills great and I weigh 195 lbs. I got it up to about 50 for a short distance but not pushing it real hard to I break it in good. I did find out the problem with my lose throttle control. As I was driving the throttle cable came out of the hand grip. after taking apart I found that the thing is broke so I emailed Jim this morning and he said he would call the factory and see what they say. But so far I like the bike runs like a top only negative is the cheap plastics don't really fit together and the rubber floor mat does not even line up with the holes to snap in. Is there a after market mat that maybe I could glue or stick to the bottom

No Jim said he would refund my money for the pdi.. 1 hour to assemble bike 1.5 hours to put the stupid mirrors on. the plastic is kind of warped and the screw to short lol The bike fired right up and ran good the front shocks kind of stiff I dont know if they are adjustable The plastic is very cheap on the bike I dont see how it will stay together we will see.
