The line that says crankcase breather.. wear does it connect to and the line that says fresh air does it just have a open line at the end when I got the scooter the fresh air line is big and at the end it goes to a reducer and just hanging at the bottom of frame and the crankcase breather line was just maybe six inches long and just hanging I had assumed it connected to the fresh air line at the reducer but after looking at pics I dont think so Attachments:

Are you in California? If not, just take the EGR / PAIR system off, it's not needed and the bike will run better without it.

Remove the chrome tube from the valve cover. Either buy the block-off plates (they cost like $10.95 each! ) or make your own, which is what I did, and then just remove anything connected to it. It's really simple once you look at it.

Are you in California? If not, just take the EGR / PAIR system off, it's not needed and the bike will run better without it. Sorry there is absolutely no proof of that claim. If it is all properly hooked up it does not interfere with the scooter's performance whatsoever. Also very few scooters have a EGR system rather it's a P.A.I.R system. In fact it's been stated by many a scooter with a true EGR system will run poorly if removed. JR

After lots of reading and studying, I'm in agreement that yes, a properly designed PAIR system won't interfere with the motor - but in the case of many (if not most) of these Chinese scoots, a PAIR system was simply slapped on the motor to help them meet the CA emissions standards, and is not a "properly designed and/or implemented system". Mine was taken off as soon as I got the bike (well, half of it was, but the scooter shop; I took the rest of myself after reading and studying), and yes, my bike has run much better without it. I was getting ~105mpg with the stock airbox and muffler (obviously, since installing the aftermarket parts, I haven't had enough gas fill-ups to properly calculate what my MPG is now.)

As with most Chinese scooters and a lot of people who ride them they also need to be properly checked on the PDI, if done they cause no engine performance issues and again engines with a true EGR system run poorly if they are removed.

Thanks JR you are the first person who could tell me where this line went to. I knew it had to go somewhere because it was blowing out air from it.. I had it hooked up to the fresh air side of the pair system I hope i didnt mess anything up. it would have been sucking in from the breather instead of fresh air..
Now that I got that figured out what should be at the end of the fresh air line. Right now it just has a reducer and hangs at the bottom of frame

OK the breather line again will hook up on the air breather , mine hooks up on a little nipple about 5" from the carb inlet. Your filter housing should have about a 4 to 6 inch tube with a plug in the end and this catches condensate and oil mist from this breather tube. When you do routine maintenance of cleaning the air filter you drain this tube if there is anything in it.
The fresh air line you mentioned is just that, when the scooter is running the P.A.I.R. cannister is opened by the vacuum from the engine and it allows fresh air in along with the gas fumes from the tank on the scooter in my case go back through the air filter box and back though the carb. There is another nipple that it hooks up to right by the one where the breather hose hooks up to.
I think the reducer you mentioned on the end of the fresh air line is a filter, my cannister doesn't even have this line but is open.
