Hey Yoster. IMO I think $1,000 is a very fair price, Then again it all depends on your areas supply and demand. Hell, a local dealer here in Vegas still has 2009 50cc peace models priced at 1200 sticker, Not out the door price. I maybe biased in knowing it's a scoot taken care of very well but, I see no harm in posting a CR add just to see what type of response you get. Like I said a while back, get what you want!!! There is no reason why ya can't buy a new ride of your choice and keep or maybe sell your currant ride. The hard choice is yours to make. |

Thanks for the advise JR!!!!!!! As always top notch!!!! It's kind fun to pull off those big green worms and throw them at a wall... I usually use a chemical spray for the aphids but, I'm trying to NOT to use pesticides and such this year. Growing anything in the desert can be a challenge. Not to hijack but, I do apologize for my absence! I've been more into my local scooter scene (Got a job offer at a local scoot shop) Not sure I wanna take it though cause the owner has questionable morals. I'll leave it at that. Also, I wont post here but, The last few months I have been VERY active in the Gaming community. Minecraft specifically with the XBLA360 version released recently. Oh and I am now earning a few bucks from You tube. ( got my first check for $3.48) 20+ hours of work/play It's a start......I won't ask for any subs or post links on this forum. Anyway, How does one go about getting on the list for receiving some tasty preserves? (just kidding) I indeed apologize for not being around so, I have a lot of catching up to do. Forgive me if I bump an old post with my opinion. |

Only 92 Tomato plants? ?? Slacker!!!!!!! (just kidding) I have problems with tomato worms with my 5..... Aphids on the Rose bushes and other critters are hampering my Organic try this season. Maybe I should stick with sunflowers At least my Carrots and Radishes are doing well. The onions not so much... Anyway, I am Jelouse as usual!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!!! |

Good On You!!!!! First rule of any negotiation is be prepared to walk away!!!!!! Bummer ya didn't get a new ride but, better to be safe than possibly buying something stolen (that was my first thought) Save your cash and buy something YOU really want... I hope the visit wasn't a total loss (hope you had a decent drive/ride at least) Good CL deals can be had but, always shop around. At least you won't need to worry about the added lead content of of your diet now ;D |

A Craigslist AD is all about the Test drive or lack there of. Again I wish you luck!!!! Offer $300 if it won't start and build up to $450. Just don't get your hopes up and be ready to walk away if ANYTHING seems not right. Your not dumb (IMO) so, This could be a great deal or a waste of time either way I see nothing to lose in checking it out. Maybe plan on going out for breakfast/lunch with your significant other before hand so the trip is not a total waste if ya decide not to purchase. Just a thought...... |

NO!!! DO NOT BITE IT!!!!!!! Remember the lead content in Chinese products? ?? ( just kidding) Honestly for the price and IF all the paperwork is legit, I would have already bought it. Just my opinion. You could make your cash back on parts alone but, if it does start even better. You could flip it for a profit. Wish I could find a deal like that........ for $500 either something is really wrong or the owner is oblivious. Either way I say If I could I would. Let us know how it goes!!!!!! |

Now that was funny!!!!!!! Thanks John.... Does that mean Trike kits should be considered cars? ? 4 wheels do touch the ground........ Just joking but, I'm sure some asshat has introduced a policy somewhere. Seriously though- Is there ANY type of known Tax break for owning a scoot??? Or, should I just accept that riding a scooter is way cooler than any other form of transportation and be happy with that  |

I was finishing up my parents tax return last night and came across the Alternative Vehicle Credit. Mostly used for Hybrids, Electric cars and such but, I was thinking ..... If a buy a new scoot this year, Can the purchase price be used as a energy efficient vehicle deduction/credit? Just curious.... I assume an electric scoot qualifies but, Wouldn't just owning a scoot for daily commuting be considered An Alternative Vehicle Or a "Green" vehicle? Again Just curious if this is something others have thought of or do. Hell you can write off most everything else..... |

How much of the dollars awarded went to the Attorneys and court fees. I doubt any of these folks saw life changing amounts of cash after paying for the years of being tied up in the court system.... I hope I'm Not wrong. Sad either way. Maybe there is hope for a Darwin Award Tie in...... BTW JR- my Carpel Tunnel/ Arthritis and a bit of Tennis Elbow is kicking in so, should I sue you or Proboards for making me type so much? ? (joking of course) I'd go after Microsoft for making me play all those damn video games. They have more cash to settle with anyway.... (still joking!!!) I'm sure someone has tried though. What ever happend to working hard for what you want and taking responsibility for your actions? ? I guess there is a new American Dream........ Oh well |
