Minesweeper thank you for the input. I believe I havemy problem solved. Took her for a ride, came home and waited. No oil leak. So far so good. I only went about 4 miles the day it happened. I checked the oil it was just at the bottom of the dip stick. A longer ride could have been devastating. I will post some install of plastic fenders later if it can help someone else thanks all

I will take a few pics as I struggle with out breaking something putting it together. Not sure how to post pics. Have not done that yet. I have run the scooter with plastic off and all seems ok. With that piece off it sprayed oil all under neath the seat area. Just finished cleaning every thing. The scooter did not skip a beat with that piece out of the top. Purred along at 60 no problem. Could that be a breather of some kind? Thanks for the input. Glenn

Yesterday came home on the scooter, parked it. 30 minutes later went in the garage and oil on the floor under engine and rear tire area. PANIC set in. Worked trying to remove the plastic rear sides. Got it all lose except the very back where the tail light section is. and could not get the key seat cable latch apart. Is there an easier way to do it. or instructions here on the site on how to remove them
By the way I found that on top of the engine (Honda clone) there is a small breather pipe connected by tubing to a "Y" going in different directions. When I got the plastic out of the way I could see that the little tube was still connected to the "Y" tubing but pulled out of the top of the engine. I cleaned this area real good with brake cleaner and the metal tube and used high heat silicone to keep it in the hole. Will run engine later and see if that does the trick
Any one ever have this happen to them? Thanks

My son in law is interested this scooter 2011 150cc "ICEBEAR Brand Motorcycle, imported by HAILI ICEBEAR MFG" The info in quotes is from the builders plate. The guy that has the scooter doesn't know much about. He thought it was 200cc. He ran over a ground hog, wrecked and parked the scooter. It isn't running, but a friend of his looked at it and said a wire along the bottom side is loose or came disconnected. He was asking $500.00 for it, then lowered it to $350.00. My questions are: 1. Is this a good brand of scooter? 2. What would be a fair price for this if it were running? 3. Son in law is a big guy, would this power full enough? 4. what king of drive would it have? 5. Do they use the Honda & Yamaha clone engines? We'll start with these to see if it is worth going to look at Thanks to all who reply Live in central Pa

Hello, and just let me say right away what an awesome scooter sight this is. I have been looking at this sight for the last two weeks in antisapation of my new(used) scooter. I just picked up my 2011 Silver Jonway YY250T, 244cc Honda clone motor (172MM) with 1,783 miles on Saturday. I have all the original operating (is called the Fashion Sport) manuals and parts catalog (Roketa MC-54-250). I am the third owner, secound owner only put 27 miles on it. I have NO issues with the scooter. It seems to work fine, checked the battery output, was good, fan comes on when gauge is about half way. Good throttle response. Have a couple Question (sorry for writing a book) 1. However I was wondering what kind of preventive maintenance you would suggest. IE-oil change & weight etc. 2. This scooter has a so-called radio in it. Anyone know what it really is? hook an I-pad to it or what?? schematic ? 3. Was thinking of replacing all my lights with LED's. Does anyone have cross reference from the regular bulbs to LED bulbs. It is a little confusing trying to find the right match and upgrading headlights? Thank You for any help you can provide SILVER BULLET (Glenn in central PA)
