Hello, and just let me say right away what an awesome scooter sight this is. I have been looking at this sight for the last two weeks in antisapation of my new(used) scooter. I just picked up my 2011 Silver Jonway YY250T, 244cc Honda clone motor (172MM) with 1,783 miles on Saturday. I have all the original operating (is called the Fashion Sport) manuals and parts catalog (Roketa MC-54-250). I am the third owner, secound owner only put 27 miles on it. I have NO issues with the scooter. It seems to work fine, checked the battery output, was good, fan comes on when gauge is about half way. Good throttle response. Have a couple Question (sorry for writing a book) 1. However I was wondering what kind of preventive maintenance you would suggest. IE-oil change & weight etc. 2. This scooter has a so-called radio in it. Anyone know what it really is? hook an I-pad to it or what?? schematic ? 3. Was thinking of replacing all my lights with LED's. Does anyone have cross reference from the regular bulbs to LED bulbs. It is a little confusing trying to find the right match and upgrading headlights? Thank You for any help you can provide SILVER BULLET (Glenn in central PA)

Seems like you would need FOUR turn signal bulbs, but other than that Alley's list is comprehensive. Various sites carry those bulbs, so just google around, you'll find them. You need bulbs equivalent to 1156 and 1157, I forget the number for the white running light bulbs. Hardest ones to replace are the front turn signals because there are little brackets that have to be removed before you can get at the bulbs, but all are relatively easy.
Assuming your "radio" is like mine, little panel on left dash with six buttons, agree it's junk, but yes, there should be wires inside the glove compartment to plug in an MP3 player. Never have figured out what all the buttons are; two are volume up/down, one switches between FM radio and MP3, one is on/off, no clue what the other two are. Radio signal comes and goes and is never very good. If you are really into music on the road, replacing it makes sense. I used mine a few times and then gave up on it and decided to just sing karaoke as I roll along.
(All the above assumes yours is basically the same as my 2011 MC-54B-250 Roketa.)
