Hey John - looks like we didn't get to that summer ride! Tint sounds like a great idea, and perhaps it will hide some of that artful repair I made. Here's a picture of the light mounted on the black plastic. I drilled a hole for the screw and one for the wire. I put a decent sized washer behind the mounting screw for support. Here are both lights mounted: Here are the lights I bought from ebay: .ebay.com/itm/261233601767?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.ebay.com/itm/261233601767?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITI thought I took more pictures but I guess I didn't. The wires from the lights go to a relay, and the relay is wired directly into the battery. There is a switch that comes off the relay that I cut into one of the dash lights and which I mounted on top of the brake reservoir cap. None of the wiring came with the lights - I had originally bought some halogen running lights that were just too heavy to mount anywhere on the scoot.

I put 10W cree floods on the sides of the scoot up by the faring. They are fantastic. though lame, here is a vid I made.

Hi It is located behind the dash. You'll need to take off the faring and you'll see it straight away.

You're finding out the fun of owning one of these things! When I do a big repair I often come here and make a parts list, with supplier, since it's often a pain in the butt to source parts for the 257cc's. I used to get my parts from BMS so I'd know they'd fit, but it looks like they are not restocking many parts for our scoots when they run out. Many continued safe miles to you.

bnet - you can use an EIKO 6235b or, if you want more light, your electrical system will handle and EIKO 6245b. The bulbs aren't that expensive but the shipping is, so I'd recommend buying a few and have them on hand for the next time one goes out.

Richard - I got that dragon custom exhaust because I could not find a reasonably priced head pipe and the whole stock exhaust system cost more than the dragon. I only needed the pipe too, but I didn't find this vendor until after I had given up on searching. I agree it is a really great price.
