Thanks for your 2 cents fFlintstone but the scoot has no spark not the carb, and as far as frustration you would be to if everytime you ask something someone is looking to knock you I sted of asking politely at least that's the way I was raised I don't know maybe everyone is just looking to be better than somebody on here. And as far as 98 replys half of them are people replying totally off subject, like maybe it's your starter ones got nothing to do with the other. And the rest of the replys are people looking for something to bite at you about if everybody spent more time on the subject in hand you would have more successful threads because I've been searching on here and a lot of these threads are not even finish or the same as I'm going thru. So no, good luck to you...

I sent them to you alleyoop, also I want to say I appreciate you guys helping me but, I hope I don't say this in the wrong way but I've worked on cars for a while now not scooters. So I've picked up a wrench or 2.wheb I tell you I didn't knock anything else off I mean it. The coil wires can't be reversed it has a small spade and a large one. The only thing that came of was the plug wire. I'm telling you I've been from front to back on this thing and I can't see anything unless I'm looking to hard. So I know I didn't cross anything because I didn't plug anything back up beside the coil and it only works one way.

I took the enricher off the carb so I was no where near where it plugs, and the plug wire got knocked off by the air filter tube

Ok here's what my coil is doing, both sides of coil have ground w/key off when key is on both sides have power.

Sorry that's what it did with my cdi uncooked, I forgot to plug it back on after I tested it. Now the yellow w/blk wire has ground when key is off then when you try to start it blinks 12v once and the blk w/brn wire is ground w/key off then constantly 12v while key on and turning over engine.
