Since my hip replacement, I've been afraid of falling on the new hip. I doubt I will ever ride my scoot again. It has all of 684 miles on it and comes with a real stereo radio/mp3 player, real stereo speakers and a burglar alarm. The variator was converted to sliders and it runs strong.
$1,200 and it's yours. You deal with shipping or picking it up. I live in South Park, PA 15129. For more info, email me at egn6@yahoo.com.

I hope you never need to buy wheels for the miscarriage.

I have decided to take Richards advice and sell/trade for a trike of some sort. I do have concerns that these Chinese trikes may be Rube Goldberged a bit and not very reliable. No offense meant, AllyOop. I guess it's like anything else...you get what you pay for and right now I wish I could afford a Suzuki Bergman 400. I'll put training wheels on it. Ernie

I put a new electric choke on my JCL MP-250A and the idle went up to 4,000 rpm. The choke is loose on its mounting. Both screws are as tight as they can get but choke is still loose. Sounds like it's sucking air and leaning out.
I reinstalled the old choke and ended up with the exact same problem. Choke is loose enough to wiggle with fingers and idle up to 4,000 rpm.
I have obviously made an error in reinstalling the choke but I don't know what it is. I remember the choke being tight in its mounting before I replaced it.
Any ideas?

Yes sir, I'm sick and tired of paying taxes and our roads are like mine fields. To make matters worse, the county is in the process of tarring and chipping all the secondary roads around here. I HATE GRAVEL!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to start the cold blooded thing and it kicked over and died. It repeated this several times so I ordered a new electric choke assembly. Any other ideas? It runs great when warmed up.

A few days later it started right up and idled like it is supposed to. Definitely old crummy gas. Ernie

My scoot always started right up and ran great. This season it was very difficult to start and keep idleing until it reached optimum temp. Then the idle was questionable. The gas has been in it all of last summer and last winter. A few days ago I put a good slug of Seafoam in the gas. Having forgotten about the seafoam, I decided to take it to my local scooter shop for a tune up and valve adjustment. When I tried to start it, it fired right up almost like nothing was wrong. I probably added some Sta-bil way back when. I took it to the scooter shop and the mechanic told me it sounds and feels fine. Coming home it ran as smooth as silk. I guess maybe I'll siphon all that old gas out and fill it with hi test. Go figger....

Go to Sears and get a set of EasyOuts. The broken bolt will come out easily.
