It was the battery, battery store was confused too because the voltage would drop on load then recover to to 12.5 or so. He opened the battery up and the cells were dry probably from over charging. That's interesting because I have had no blow light bulbs or unusual signs of this condition but with out a volt gage it's hard to monitor. Thanks for all help from you guys.

By the way, I bought this scooter new in 2012, it has had the best of care by me, I have done all the maintenance and a couple of repairs last year (starter motor, rectifier, carburator, battery It has never been in the rain or had any modifications. It has 8200 kilometers on it. This problem came out of the blue.

Headlight is disconnected because shielding is removed so it does not come on. What I was referring to was turn signals, instrument lights and rear lights. They are dim then almost go out if brake lever is pulled. Checked the ohms on the small red (fused) wire to the ignition switch 00.1or 0.00. Green wire from frame mount to ignition 00.2 or 0.00. What's frustrating is the green wires are all grounded and so is the engine and frame. But something limits the voltage 12.7/13.0 low to lower. The starter selinoid is 12.7 as well as the wire from it to starter terminal but sometimes with the starter but pressed it gives low groan and the instrument lights go dim.
With the key on the ignition switch, the red and green terminals 12.2 volts.and the battery drops to 7.9 volts, turn key off and it goes back 12.7. That's probably why the lights dim an start groans if even makes noise,

I jumped the red and black wires and the turn signal lights are dim and the instrument cluster lights are flickering without moving any wires. Press the starter button and the starter selinoid does not click, It has 12.7 volts until you turn the key on and then it drops to 6.9 volts. Does the rectifier have any thing to do with when the engine is not running?

12.7 volts at back of ignition switch with key in off position, turn key to on and it drops to 7.9'or so. Took all green wire connectors off and cleaned each wire and the frame mount as well as the batter terminals with wire wheel on my dermal, so I know that green wires are grounded to the frame. The green and red wires at the rectifier harnes have 12.7 volts with ignition off but drops to 6.8 or so. Is their a way to to take a wire and jump the ignition switch? If the voltage drops when turned to on position does that mean the switch is bad?

I have 7.9 volts at the ignition switch, switch on, red and black wires. Turn signals have a weak flashing light when turned on. Were should I go next.

Sunny 50cc scooter, replaced carb. Starts, idles and performs great until you go full throttle. Then it bucks until you easy off and reach cruising speed then it's fine again. Carb has 33mm jet and 85mm high speed jet. Any ideas on how to resolve?

AC voltage at 4000 RPM at headlight harness low beam 18 and high 25+. Not charging at battery.
