Ellpee, I am lucky I was wearing my gear and only ended up with scrapes and bruised ribs. The scoot has scratches all down the left side. Jeff

Just a note to watch out for fine gravel and sand in the curves. I had the front tire wash out in a parking lot at 15 mph today. I was breaking for a curve and hit soon loose gravel and in an instant I was picking up my Linhai 300 with the help of a passerby. I have some scrapes and bruises but I am OK. The bike has some road rash on the left front. It could have been much worse. My heavy heated Milwalkie coat kept me from more skin loss and it did not even tear. So let's all be careful and keep the shinny side up. Jeff.

Bobcat, I removed the cover from my Kymco Like, used a sharp knife to slice off about an inch of foam which I replaced with memory foam then I restapled the cover. Try it it is cheap and it works. Jeff

Bones, I would buy it if it were any where close. I had an 1983 850 Yamaha and I loved it. The only problem was it was very tall in the saddle. I think the 750 you are looking at would be a great short haul ( up to 500 mile trips) bike. Jeff B.

Skyrider, I can't believe it either. I had surgery Thursday or I would be considering it as an investment. I checked online and I am seeing $3900 consistently for 2005s or older. Can you pm? Me some pics and if it is still available next weekend I would be interested.

Bobf, Yes I live in Farmington, NM. We are close enough to see the mountains, but we seldom have enough snow to shovel.. Jeff B.

Richard, I ride nearly every day here.. I live in the northwest corner of New Mexico and it has been 15 to 17 every morning when I go to work, but it warms up to around 45 by 2:00 pm when I get off. My pick up has only been driven 3 days in 2 months. Tomorrow I plan to ride about 50 miles after work as a present to myself. I hope you all have good riding in 2014. Jeff

Quadrunner, I had a similar problem with my Turista 300 speedo. I removed the speedo and cleaned the rotating drum and bushing with spray carb cleaner and then relubed with a light oil and it works great. Jeff

Jetjock it could also be that your gas cap is not venting well. I changed fuel pumps and even tried an electric pump. The engine would just run out of gas on a long grade or when at a sustained higher speed. I finally drilled a very small hole through the gas cap and I was amazed at the change in high speed and acceleration. I hope you can get it fixed Job.
