i am wondering if anyone knows if i can use an different seat on the roketa 54 250 ? i really would like to find one that is more comfortable than the original seat. and if there is, how can i see bout getting one and how much. can't cost to much cause i am single living on ss disability. if not, does anyone know where i may can find an seat cover for it? and again, how much? thanx for the input and especially your help. bobcat

Hello bobcat I don't think there is really any other style of seat for your scooter,but people do recover them ...There are videos on youtube & I think there maybe a couple right on this site somewhere...I've been thinking about recovering mine myself.....The seat cost around $100 to replace & you would be getting basically the same seat.....You can recover it cheaper then that..You could check out a re-upholstery place near you & see what they may charge.....Good luck Rcq78

Bobcat, I removed the cover from my Kymco Like, used a sharp knife to slice off about an inch of foam which I replaced with memory foam then I restapled the cover. Try it it is cheap and it works. Jeff

ahhh ok jeff, thank u. i will try that b4 long. is it more comfy now? i have bony butt lol and could use some more cushioning. but i rode it to memphis saturday (bout 70 miles from my house in henderson tn) and done fine. i averaged over 83 mpg. yes i am really enjoying my scooter. thanx again for the info. bodcat

hey flintstone. i watched the video. wish i could do that but, i would be totally lost, from the beginning. i will (hopefully) find an shop that can do this for me. thanx again buddy
