They don't give much in the way of specs but I have read a few posts by riders over 6' tall. The main drawback that I've seen many complaints about is that it is extremely underpowered. Top speed from the crate is in the 55mph range so most are replacing the 45T rear sprocket with 38T or 35T. 38T seems to kick speed up to 60/65 and still give decent response in traffic. This is a hard-tail so 60 is OK for me! I think that some of the skills we have developed working our scooters might be helpful with some of our mods. I will for sure mess with the CDI and coil.
I think the TBX EFI that started this post wins out in almost every category, but this is a BOBBER!

There is a 500 page thread with over 4,000 posts on My China Moto started by Barnone. It has a lot of useful insites and help, but from what I've read, it seems to have very few flaws and those easily fixed. I noticed that the glide (A) version has increased in price to within $100 of the springer. Both can be found on extremescooters.biz or Scooter Depot. Scooter Depot has the pre 2012 version as a discontinued model for $2k, but the tank is different and some owners have had issues with it leaking. Mine should arrive soon. If no one minds, I will try to keep all posted. I have attached a photo of the springer version. In addition to the springer front, it has different bars and no fender. Attachments:

More to the story. Tx Highway Patrol pulled him over on a routine traffic stop. The trailer that he had my trike on was also stolen. He has a lot of proving to do! Not sure about the truck. They were still checking.

Really enjoyed my trike. It took me a few miles to learn how to ride it. Mine was stolen before I got to put 100 miles on it. It's been recovered but they are holding it in impound cause the guy claims he got it off the net and I have to go to a hearing and prove it's mine. Hope they put him in a cell with violent sex offenders. Ordered my bobber for $2K on Friday. I saw today that they have increased the price to $2,448. That's pretty close to the TBX that started this thread.

My Jonway has been good to me, but only has about 500 miles. Take a look at rapidrepairpowersports.com This is a very good dealer of Ice Bear Trikes. You might be able to keep the Jonway and still have a trike. I have the Viking, a 150cc without all the plastic. I've done a little work on it. If you're really interested you'll see lots of info on the trike forum.

I did a little searching for the TBX EFI and in the process discovered this: SUN-250cc Street Legal Bobber Chopper A. extreme scooters.bzNone of the hi-tch stuff I wanted, but it's old school like me. They make a springer version also. Bottom line is much slower, very hard ride, no storage, only one person. Upside is that I've always wanted a bobber and this is only $2,200 del. It's ordered, but I sure don't see a Scooter Professor forum for something like this. I do still have the Jonway YY250T, and a highly customized Ice Bear Trike for those days when I want a little easier ride.

Just spoke with Killer Motorsports in Tx. They claim that there isn't a TBX in the US and it is out of production for redesign. I call BS on that and will check around. They also admitted that they are only a drop shipper so don't expect any PDI or service from them on any product they might sell.

Did a little research. I believe it uses the Delphi MT05 controller system. The website has a bunch of info that I don't understand. It's in English but it might as well be a Chinese owners manual.

Description says the efi is "Made in USA by Delphi Brand fuel injection system" so that's a big plus. Good place to start some research on a chip? I'm not smart enough to do that sort of thing, but it sure opens up some performance possibilities.

Late on the MSO. 2yr ago, if I remember correctly, I had to wait for the scooter to get here, then submit a MSO request with the Vin. Checked today and they don't do it that way anymore. The refund was because the unit was not as described. They were very responsive and gave me a $100 dollar refund and then changed the description on their web site. Think they used cut/past from the mfg. Supposed to be 12' rear wheel and it was only 10". First one I ordered and it was an 08. Chinese have gotten so much better since then. I've ordered several since, (Long story.) I do PDI before I ever start one now, I also change the turn sig lights for LED, and install high flow fuel pump/filter, coil, plug, and CDI. Quit messing with the variator long ago. Y250T is great scoot but the gage lenses yellowed in the TX sun so I can't read them and the radio is crap. I had '97 Valk and had to change the stock tires after only 6K miles. Very excited about the BMS efi.

Seller told me they were the same, but they use different engines. I have purchased from Power Ride outlet and other than the fact that the MSO took forever to arrive they were pretty good. I am not impressed with the fact that I had to request the MSO after the unit arrived. The description of a unit I bought from them did not match what was sent, but they responded quickly, refunded me 100 bucks and changed their description promptly. I will check their site again. Thanks for the input.
UPDATE
Just checked their site and they do not require me to submit a request for ths MSO, but they are out of stock. I've had pretty good luck with Superior Powersports so they are the front runners right now.

I'm still doing last min. searching for a dealer. Killer Motorsports is only 6 mi from me here in TX but I've heard so many bad things about them that I may go with Superior Powersports. Last puchase from them was a Jonway YY250T. Problem is that I ordered the Rocketa version. If anyone has any input on a good vender?
