last week I put a new stator in my 150cc scoot(8 pole) same as the original one...Did not notice at that time that the yellow and white wires were in the opposite sides of each other than the bikes harness.I started to blow dash and running lights... My question is would that ruin the r/r?

I have changed the stock headlight bulbs with auto H4 hali's but I think I want to wire the headlights and rear tail light to the battery..I found this wireing diagram on another forum.Does anyone think it will work? And what size diode sould be used? This is what I found.... i don't see why the following wouldn't work for keeping both lights on.
2 Relays
First: 30: 12v + 85: low beam switch 86: 12v - 87: 12v + of low beam headlight
Second: 30: 12v + 85: high beam switch 86: 12v - 87: 12v + of low beam and high beam of headlight (diode must be placed on low beam)

still no replys?huh Well somthing goofy is going on with this scoot...It blew the rear running filament in the bulb...Blew all dash lights,And the smaller clear bulbs next to the headlights....Put a new bulb in the tail light then unpluged the r/r and took it for a ride(aprx 1 mile)to another scooter owner to try a different r/r.And before we had a chance to try the other r/r I noticed the rear running filament was not working..Pulled the bulb out and it was blown again...wth dont get what is going on...Went back home changed the bulb again took it for another short trip with the r/r pluged in and no bulbs blew..Dont really under stand electrical crap I guess...

Really feel like pouring gas on this thing and lighting it on fire.....Fun to ride but hate to figure electrical problems out!!!I am asuming it is the r/r.Something must of happened to it when I blew out the stater.I tryed anouther one that looked the same from a kids small quad but I see an arch when pluging it in while the scoot is running.Any ideas?I checked all the wires and unpluged everything and repluged them in while it was running to see if the lights would turn on but nothing.I only get them when I plug my old r/r in..well not all the way in any way just getting it started to plug in I get the lights but when pushing the plug in all the way they shut off!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!!Well I guess it is not a good Idea to wire the high and low beams to be on at the same time...It blew up my stater...I guess I would have to wire the high beams directly to the battery and a seperate switch...But first going to try Halogen bulbs!
