I agree, riding on two wheels opens a whole new perspective on enjoying ife. (actually, riding on three ain't bad either)
Give us a pic of your Silver Bullet (hopefully not a Coors Light can.)
And, Welcome and enjoy the Scooter life

Have you run it without the thermostat? (Like we used to on the old Fords that overheated.)
But, yea, that sounds like you're in the area
On mine, I can burp it, see the coolant circulating, temp light never goes above 3 of 6 bars.
But, still interested to learn of what the 'rest of the story' is.
Good luck

Get a 150cc Again, I never understood why someone would buy a 50cc, then do all the work to make it faster, when they coulda gotten a 150 instead (or a 250, etc.)
I was told cause of ins, registration, Motorcycle Lic, etc. To me, I say, do the right thing, and get your MC training, Lic and Reg and Ins.
But, that's just me
I have read of the BBK's, perf exhaust, rollers, variator, etc etc.
But, yea, I guess it's doeable., but 45 at WOT for any length of time can't be good for the engine But, again, that's just me.
I'm sure other 50cc folks will give ya the real skinny as to how they did theirs. I just got the biggest I could get from the get go.
God speed and safe riding
Dave

I've seen one at the Scooter Shop here in Columbus. Interesting concept, however, it doesn't balance by itself. (I need something that is sable, and standing still, this isn't (has to be locked) And, someone on another site has one. and, I've seen a couple you tube videos of one.

this may be a bit extreme, but I was taught to 1. Place cardboard under the tires (to absorb moisture) 2. Drain the engine oil and replace with reg oil. Change oil with the good stuff in the spring 3. Use Stabil, or Seafoam. Fill tank with gas and add the 2-3 whatever oz's of the additive. Take the scoot out for a little ride, to get the additive well circulated and in the carbs 5. rear gear oil should be fine, but replace in the spring. 6. Change the chinese coolant to good coolant, and don't forget to burp. 7. Remove battery, take in the house and put on a battery tender 8. Cover the bike with a real bike cover, or bedsheet, but cover it with something

That is a nice looking Trike, I like it that is why I was asking what the top speed is because I would buy one. But on all the 300cc ICE BEAR trikes it says 55.9 top speed. If that is the case my punched out 2009 150 ICE BEAR PST150H Trike has them for lunch Alleyoop I apologize Alley I told them (my girlfriends san and his ignorant helper) to NOT move the trike, just the other two bikes. But, they wanted to do it while I was at work so they wouldn't have to listen to me, and, bigger than chit, they took it, along with a bunch of other stuff. But, I will dig it out and get the top speed fingered out

I got my Zodiac early this summer. I need a trike due to a minor disability, otherwise I'd be back on two wheels. I ordered my zodian from JIm, at Rapid Repair. He's great to work with. We talked on a regular basis from the time of my first questions to well after delivery. I only had a few issues when I first got the trike. Talked to Jim and resolved the issues. In addition, I went thru the bike and did my own PDI. Found a few things and tightened em, oiled em, adjusted, fixed em, greased em, etc etc I've only ridden about 600 miles (oil change at 500) due to work, rain, etc. In that time, I've learned a few things about the Zodiac. It is a bit of a hard ride, I assume due to the wide rear tires. The rear tires stick out further than I thought. (hit the curb at the drive thru at McDonalds) Top speed is just over 60, but I haven't GPS'd it yet. Although I do have the mount ready for it. I haven't done any engine modifications yet at all. Alley says it's already punched out so not much else to do. And, realistically, if it'll pass cars doing down the major roads, that's all I need it to do No long distance hi way riding. (but I can/do do short stints from one exit to the next) I will be checking the rear brake calipers and pads I like the rear trunk. It's a chick magnet I added a Shark Marine stereo and put the receiver in the glove box I'm a big POW/MIA supporter And it fits my needs All in all, I'm quite satisfied with the scoot. I'm gonna do the routine maint religiously and see what happens. Any questions, please ask. And, it's so good to see some more Zodiac and Magnum (sorry your dealer couldn't deliver) riders on here God speed to all Dave

Hi all, I realize this is an older post but I'm currently replacing my tires. I was wondering if any of you needed to replace the exhaust gasket before reinstalling the muffler? Thanks in advance. I admit to not having replaced a exhaust pipe on a scooter, but on my Honda shadow 1100 Sabre, it is a must to replace with a new crush gasket. I would ay yes, just to be on the safe side. sucking air can suck. (I know, that's what 'she' said)

I got my 300cc Zodiac from Jim Dealer did the PDI There are rubber washers under the body kit screws No vibration from the rear deck Plenty of power, but I'm still doing the break in The 14" rear tires are nice Bit of a rough ride on these winter destroyed roads, but oh so nice in good roads Absolutely no power loss on hills And its a great chick magnet Plenty of storage under the seat and the givi box Need to add tach and voltmeter
I like mine

I don't see the need to drain anything
Fiil the gas tank, add some seafoam, run to the store n back, disconnect battery and put on a tender
No different than storing for the winter.
(That's when it gets cold and snows n stuff, but in Az u never see that)
Enjoy the trip

You can do a lap link (download from your fone to your puter) but, that's too complicated for me I just email it to myself, download to MY PICTURES, resize if necessarry and it's forever saved.
