well fixed up on that issue. now i have another... my blinkers and gas guage are not working(basically nothing turns on with the key) i have a wiring diagram but it is all loomed together and hard to work with. would this thing have anything to do with this issue? i have no idea what it is. and there are two light green wires comeing out of it that are linked together and a red one that are not hooked up. then there is a black one that is hooked up to a blank spot on the ignition(has some duct tape on it, not sure if there was a issue before or if that is "aftermarkrt") got any advice for this one?

well i think here in michigan you have to apply for one, and its not cheap(100 is i think) and well you don't need titles for 50cc scooters. im heading up there tomorrow after i get out of work so we will see what happens. hopefully it all works out. actually i was thinking and what they do is a vin inspection. then the police department runs the vin to make sure everything is good than title/registration is issued after fees are payed. i think thats how it works

I bought two mopeds, and i got no registrations with them. they both have registration stickers, one expired in 2016 and other expired this year. I have bill of sale for them. What can i expect when i take them up to the secretary of state here in michigan? I bought a 1967 ped awhile back and ofcourse it didnt have anything and i got a new registration without too many issues. but what about these? Thanks

well I guess i plugged the one at the bottom and that is right it it is the drain.a I adjusted the float and plugged it and if it ran any better i would think its new. So I suppose that is the fix. If it was the overflow that the pipe that goes uo into the bowl if broken off and has no trace left. I think i know what the overflow must be. i got some fine tuning to do and ill see what I can find. Im used to the much easier carbs without egr accelerator pumps and decelerators and all that jazz. Thanks again.

think I found the problem. the overflow hole is coming right out of the bottom of the carburetor. so any and all gas that is in the bowl drained out... I plugged the hole and put some gas into it. however my feul level is way too low as i was thinking it was too high because it was coming out so i lowered it. I plan on getting that right again. plugging the overflow(i know that not necessarily the best idea but what other choice do i have?) and crossing my fingers. Thanks for all of your help

Thanks for clearing all of that up. im assuming all of the others are right. they look right to me. So i guess new carburetor it is? is there any other reason i would leak out of the overflow other than fuel level or bad inlet valve?

I don't know what all goes onto the PCV valve. and how can i take it all off? im just realting it to a car which i have more experience with and a car wont run without all of the vacuums hooks up. im getting vacuum out of the hose coming out of the valve cover and one other. the carb is leaking gas out of the over flow when it runs. i figured before i went and bought a new carb i would make sure all of this is right.

I bought these get of mopeds. one is a 2008 Benzhou and the other is some form of 50cc Chinese scoot. I am having issues with the one that is unknown. when i first got it it had 45lbs of compression. but after cranking it and squirting some gas and it firing it is consistently at about 80 now. The issue im having is it will fire all day if you put gas in the carb or cylinder, but it will not putter, or run in any which way or form. I owned a ped with a D1E41QMB engine, and this engine looks identical but the number on it are not the same, or even in the same spot. it is a two stroke. Is this a common issue? Ill clean the carb but I don't think that is the issue because it seems like it has no suction through the carb. Thanks for any opinions or help.
