This scooter is my daily transportation .. I have recently replaced the motor at 9k miles (original motor had a terrible knock from day one that i believe was a mis-seated crank bearing that finally gave way) but had to use the stator from the old engine as the one that came with the new motor wasn't compatable ..
I am willing to invest in the right stuff .. but I would need a walkthrough for wiring in a new system.
I will most likely switch over to the 11 pole 7 pin setup after I blow these 2 recently ordered R/R's .. which will likely be in under a year
I am confined to daytime travel atm .. so my fingers are crossed that the parts arrive ontime

I don't .. I will try to find this out ... the stator wires go into the harness and this comes out at the headlight end ... the fat part breaks down into two sets for each side .. the small set it for a white running lights (brown/green) and the bigger set for the hi/lo dual headlights (green/blue/white) ...

You could use a basic 4 pin regulator . Tell me about you headlights ac or dc ? John I'm not opposed to 'patching' in something .. but I prefer to plug and play ..

12DC bulbs 35w .. but they only run when the scooter is running .. my best guess is they are on the DC side of the system but idk.. Anyway I can confirm this?
