Myself I haven't had any dealings with them Richard but I don't see anything that would keep one from using them. I just simply went to my local auto parts and bought good quality gates vacuum hose and there are other brands as good also. One has got to remember that just about any good American hose is better than the Chinese hose that comes on most Chinese scooters although the Chinese are improving from the earlier days. But I tell everyone use what you like especially if it's better and keeps you riding your scooter! JR

real silicon hoses are fine, its just some people confuse them with tygon tubing which get hard as a rock quick. the local saw shop sells silicon replacements for gas lines on the chain saws and they stay soft 10 years or more. the silicon is tinted and feels like real soft rubber. and stays that way. john

you can't tell anything by pictures. if it was me I would get air and gas lines locally where you can feel them. pretty hard to mistake the feel of real silicon rubber. local sellers are more apt to carry hose that they won't get complaints about. a large mower/saw/ small engine shop has hose designed for the high temps in air cooled products.
one other thing, a vacuum line needs a hose designed for vacuum....a hose that is rated for pressure and not vacuum can collapse.

That looks like tygon to me. I use blue polyurethane here at the shop. Also, any local hobby shop that deals in NITRO cars/planes/trucks/boats, will have real silicone hoses because its the only kind you can pump nitro/methanol mix through and it won't eat the hose.
