well it lives again , I'll put air in the rear tire and go for a rider tomorrow . I changed to a pod filter since I had a hole in the air box . I changed the main jet from 110 to 114 . It was running and stalling after a short ride tomorrow I will try to adjust the a/f . Some popping from the intake . I'm going to have to play with it some to get it right .

I do agree with Sprocket, about the honing of the cyl. With the new jug, it doesn't take much, though. Just enough to criss-cross the walls to set the rings in.

Honing a new jug just ensures that the crosshatching created by that action is present, so the rings can set in properly.

well I changed the manifold it started right up . Now a new problem I removed the stock air filter and tried to put the pod filter on . The area behind the carb is close to the cross member , the rubber on the filter is short the filter hits the cross member , I guess I need some type of hose to extend from the carb intake to the filter . mc 13 150 I was thinking some type of pvc pipe or hose . Has anyone been there the filter boot ID is 42mm .

I used a piece of OEM airbox piping I sawed off, but a short piece of radiator hose will work too. they have a spring inside to keep from collapsing too.
