So as of now I have burned through three/ YUP 3 stock muffler's on this beauty. The orig. plus the two that I have purchased from Roketa .com....I think it is time to find an alternative...Anyone have experience with these cheap cans on E-Bay? They look nice and all..And I have seen the exact same ones go for 3 times as much..But what will that do to my scoot???I just can not see spending three hundred dollars all though I have already...If they would just do a little better job these cans would hold up...trials and tribulations of the frustrated....

I'd be interested to know how long each muffler lasted (both in terms of time and miles)?

Are you burning rocket fuel? I'd like to know how many miles you have on it.

Hey Cruiser don't think by looking at it that muffler will fit? The 250B is a two part muffler, couldn't really tell anything about this muffler in the picture other than it's one piece?

Hmmmm maybe a one piece design? Could even be a better muffler? First one piece I've seen on the linhai reflex clone?
I'd for sure ask them to guarantee it would work or money back?

First of all thank you guys for chiming in...First off the first one lasted around 6 mos. as well as the 2nd one. But this last one I bought/ 3 mos. Holy crap...At 174.00 ea. thats 348.00 in just mufflers on a 2008 model. O.K. as far as miles I am 150mi from a milestone post of the 20,000 mile club. I use it for my commute of 25mi. each way to work. I know california has some rough roads but heck. I do try to avoid the pot holes. As far as jet fuel...no way too expensive, but if I thought I might get a little more on the top end without tearing up ol' blu I might try it. But seriously without starting the whole fuel grade thing again I LIKE 91 octane...That is just what I like. At least for Blu. I can always tell when the first baffle breaks, the sound changes and you can hear the rattle. But when the second baffle breaks it is really obvious.. It sounds like lawnmower races. You take off the muffler and put a flashlight to it and all you see is pipes and pieces all of which are on the bottom. shake it a little and you get pieces of the baffling fall out. I am really supprised that I am the only one experiencing this especially with the third one. You know the first one I thought O.k. whatever...The second one I thought Hey this is not cool, but the third one - what a minute. The problem I believe is that the way home is almost all up hill. 9 miles of it is at 55mph and one rather steep grade. the rest is still up hill but not so hard. Either way it is pushing rather hard on Blu to get home day after day. She gets warm but not super hot. the fan is on most of the way home. So I am thinking with the exhuast getting so worked each day the material in the muffler just cant take the abuse.

Well K, once you have taken our understanding Chinglish course, everything will be clear and you will be enlightened enough to become a Professional Chinese Scooter Technical Translator. PCSTT for short. You could be the first with a BSPCSTT.
