Where to find a CN250/cfmoto (vertical) engine By blitztek (Read 1,978 times)

I need a source for CN250/cfmoto engines. I need one right away and can pay. I work for a scooter shop in Dallas, Tx called Blitz Moped and have a Tax ID and dealer license. I can find horizontal 250's all day long but these cn250's are elusive little critters.

Well if anyone can find one it is JR, he is a canny googler:) Pm him or wait till he chimes in, he is usually busy with his grandkids.

Ok first question? What scooter are you putting it on? Reason I ask is there are two versions of this engine the short case and long case. The short case 250 fits scooters like the tank and Bali 250 with the 10' back wheel and one of our vendors has it listed right here;

This engine will NOT take a 13" wheel. Call and ask for Dave he knows this engine well.

Now this may be the engine, again you need to know which one it is long case or short and these guys get them quick even though they list it out of stock temporarily;

Now I believe the CF250 is the same as the CN250 it just always seems to be what goes in ATV's?

the others all have stub shafts for atv/buggy gear boxes

and the scooter is long case'd 13" wheels

Alright so is this one you listed correct? Also the guy on ebay from Irving said he had other ones too:

It might be worth while to contact him if the engine you listed is not right, let me know I'll keep looking and again call Dave with Abscooters he has a lot of resources and may can locate one.

I was actually looking for one last year when I had to rebuild my Jonway. I needed a long transmission and it was damn near impossible to find. And when i did find they wanted $999 bucks every where for it.

I didn't. There was no way I was going to put out almost $1000 for a motor. I Bought all the parts and Rebuilt my motor completely. New Crank Piston and head.

It's listed under YY250T and has exactly the same CVT case as my YY250T.
