well--jr--that didnt work---i ran a ground wire --from the cluster to the--neg.. post---(nothing)---so im asumeing my ground wire is ok---must be something else--ill keep looking--smutty

ok--jr--theres a green wire coming out of the cluster---i put my-lead on the neg..batt..--and red lead to green wire---- i got a reading of( 0.18 )---------thats not right is it?--shouldnt it be---ooo1?---im tempted to run a ground from the cluster--to the neg post to see what happens--smutty

hey jr---well im not doing to good--this thing is wierd--ok--i followed the neg.. cabel to the frame---took all the paint offamd tighened it back down--hooked the batt.. back up---turned the key--and it worked---turned the key off and back on again---and it didnt work--i dont think its the negative cabel----cause--i can take a wire with aligator clips---hook one to the neg... post and one to the handelbars--i can get it to work---but when i turn the key---off to on--it goes out again--im stumped---lol-----smutty

yeah---i totaly agree---john--i tried like you said---nothing happened---------so i went and got my truck---hooked my baterycabels--to truck----and the positive--to the cabel on the bike--and the NEG..--to the handel bars---wala--it worked---yeah i definatley have a ground problem somewhere---but its better than buying a new gage---gee those things are--mega bucks----thanks john---merry xmas----ill keep lookin----------

jr---those 2 plugs your refering to are --old speaker-plugs-and another pug is for the flashers----ok---i found out something---my gauge is not bad--when--i was checking some of my wires--i unscrewed a bit of my--negative cabel--so i could stick the black lead there and tighten it down---i noticed-when i move the negative cabel--my speedometer would work--tempory-when i tighgten it back down it doesnt work---also-the screw --that holds the cabel to the battery---was getting very---HOT---well im getting closer--i wonder why this screw is so hot------smutty

ok--jr---if you notice in the---pic---at the very bottom---there are 4 fuses--------the blac/and brown --go to one fuse---when i pull that fuse---my 2 zeros go---off--on the back of it--i put my black lead--on the bare connection -where the wire goes into that fuse---and my red lead on the frame of the bike---and i got a reading--of----------------7.37--smutty

jr---im kinda new--with the meter----ok---if i touch the brown/blk--wire-----do i touch it with the--red-lead----and ground the blk lead to the frame somewhere?  -smutty |

jr.----the tings that dont work on the cluster-----temp gage----speedometer----gas gage--------------------the left and right side are ok---turn signals--kickstand all ok--its just the center part of the cluster----ok---now there are wires comming out of the left side----and the right side-----and wires comeing out of the center----3 light bulbs--on right----and 3 on bulbs left-----and 6 wires cooming out of the middel---smutty

hey-blitz---ive got a 2006--cf moto----runs great---i just cant get the damn dash lights to work------but--anyway---ill sell you the whole bike for----$1000----i have pics if you want to see it----only problem--im in florida---thks---smutty
