Just turned 7,000 miles bought it in Feb 2011, had 2,000 mile on it. its a 257 yamaha clone engine. I have replaced all vacuum lines, fuel lines, fuel filter, reg oil chages, grear oil change recently, valves been adjusted maybe 4,000 miles ago, I didn't check the enricher yet. I have had stalling issues going up long hills and at 50mph plus, I check needle jet set at lowest notch, so I moved it up one, still stalling by times climbing hills.

I would first adjust the valves and make sure they are not to tight, since it has 4000 miles on the last valve adjustment. From the hard starting and stalling under load I would suspect they are tight and your looseing compression and the motor is getting to hot. Alleyoop

I know recently I move the needle clip up one notch, with that it seems to running alot better, but I can't fix this stalling, since I bought this I have never adjusted the a/f mix setting. I'll try to adjust the valves sometime this week, I think the last time the intake was set at 4 and the exhaust was set at 6.

7k it's time Richard did mine at 7.5k and and all was cured, the linhai hates tight valves especially the exhaust valve.

IMHO the enricher doesn't enrich long enough to give the motor a chance to warm up. I have been thinking about installing a switch on the power line to the enricher so I can hold it on until the temp gage reaches normal operating temp.

Alleyoop, JR, you guys were right just finished up the valve adjustment. The intake was right on 4, but the exhaust was tight, I could hardly put a # 3 in there, its set at 6 now, moved my clip back down and adjust a/f mix screw. (Wow) what a difference:) Thanks guys.
