Well I am new to this site(followed JR on over) and in the past nine to ten months have bought two EVO V9 150cc scoots from superiormotorsports with all around good luck and due to the problem with theft in this area and me being careless I just ordered a Roketa MC-72-150 which upon further review I noticed this same bike is listed as a YY150T-12(Jonway) on other sites and and was wondering if anyone out there has any input, info, experiences and whatever with this type. As far as ordering them online like I said previously I have had decent luck and SMS so far has lived up to their word on PDI-shippng-paperwork and so forth....they have gone up on prices though and that is one reason I chose to change brands, if there is such a thing, and this leads up to the subject at hand.. I am aware of the bottomless pit of chinese bikes and the swapping around of stickers and moulds and shapes and sizes ad nauseum so is anyone out there a guru on this sort of thing? And I liked the idea of 13'' rims and the over all sporty look so if any of ya'll have any say so feel free to do so would like to hear your thoughts.....thanks Sam Attachments:

Welcome Moss8448 nice scooter and you're right they are called by many names just depends on where you get it! LOL I'm working on getting manuals on these Chinese scooters and while they are poor at least they give some valuable info but we have a lot of other ehlp on any problem you might encounter so any time you got a issue just holler!
And Richard the 250A is an exact copy of the 250B just it's distributed by JCL and I own a 250B and a 250A and both of these scooters came with either engine. Both my 250B and 250A and linhais! Both are red (faster color) and if I took the labels off you could not tell the difference.

Well the scoot came in yesterday and did all the first step deals and by golly it is a 2011 but it turned out to be a Jonway YY150T-12 instead of the Roketa MC-72-150 but for the life of me the only dfference I see is the turn blinkers on the front are a little different and noticed that there is a cap on the mixture screw and not a whole lot of room to get to it...the onlyl thing I had to do was suck on the fuel line to get it flowing and it had me worried there for a bit but it finally fed and runs ok and I noticed on these new models that there is some sort of line running from the exhaust back to the engine that I have never seen before. Changed plugs and lo and behold it was a NGK..did all the things JR discussed and even put a windshield on it (the yunming generic thing) and let me tell you what with the turn signals on the rearview mirrors and everybody fighting to get in the same space was a real learning experience...and that spacer thing didn't work out so hot so I made up the difference with some lock washers if you used the spacer on one side it just spun around even after tightning so so much for that...but they do seem more robust than the type I had on the Znen model if you looked at em hard they would snap off...so if something happens with these I am going with the all metal ones....outside of the usual changing of fluids everything seems to be in order and will down the road put a few goodies on it to make it a little quicker...so I'll be on the lookout for all the tips in that area....later...gonna go out and do the motoman break in....
