Have noticed there's very little action on this site the past few months compared to my first couple years. Old names are seldom seen, and not much coming from new members. Loyal guy that I am, I'll continue checking in now and again, but wondering what's happening. Have some of the other scooter-focused sites somehow taken over? Truth is, I don't want to have to surf half a dozen sites to see what's going on in the Scooterverse. Fully appreciate the effort it took to set this site up in the first place, and to keep it up and running and reasonably fresh, but I need to spend my on-line time wisely too (mama makes that clear).

I'm here often.... granted it is mostly in the scrabble game, but I do respond to other things here from time to time. (and I don't even have a little China scoot) I don't mind surfing the 2 dozen or so sites I frequent... open and interested in just about all things scooter... some motorcycle sites too... and I don't have one of those either. To be fair, being retired does give me time to wander, but more time is spent with the Honda scooters and less time on internet sites once the riding weather is better/warmer.

Yeah, my "haunts" have been Chinese 250+ (before I sold my Roketa, and still from time to time) and the Trike classroom. Haven't seen much of anything new there in weeks now.

I'll make an observation that I've seen over a few years,,, some people get a cheapo scoot that gives them trouble from not being setup and/or maintained correctly they tire of it and sell it,,, some move on to motorcycles,,some get a really great brand that don't need a ton of work

I agree with cyborg. That was my experience, started with a Chinese 150, then a Jonway 250, had much trouble with that. Then to a Honda Reflex that I put 38,000 on. Oct '15 went to Suzuki Burgman 400 and this Oct. moved to Honda Silver Wing. Probably stop there since it does everything I want a bike to do.

The old saying "racing improves the breed" rings true,,,I've used this example many times before,,look at the scooter cannonball run every other year,,,no Chinese scooter entries,,none why?,,,because they are not up to the task,,period,,,they'll soon be there but not quite yet,,,
