Did more research. There is no choke and no fuel pump for this EFI system. That is some type of vacuum pump . But there is an error light in the speedometer gauge. It is the VTC light. Variable timing control. I have to find the valve to take a look at it. Are you familiar with it?

So should I remove the fuel injector and try to test it?

I'm remembering that I use to hear a buzz when the kill switch was in the off position. Then I would hit the electric start button and brake to start the engine. I don't hear the buzz anymore. What does that imply?

That buzz is the fuel pump pressurizing the system,,,if it's injected it has to have a pump,,,these kinds of systems need a pump to make hi pressure delivery

Follow the fuel line from the injector ,,,you will find the pump

Ok so you found the pump,, unplug it from the system,,, cover up the fuel tank,,,, get a tester,,, even if it's only the lightbulb probe type,,, turn on the bike,,, don't try to start it just leave it in the on position and check the plug for power

As a side note the pump may have taken some of the filter material in and it locked up the pump,,,, if you can get at the actual pump side if it comes apart you may be able to clear it,,, you can always make a net style filter out of a nylon paint strainer filter bag and trim off the excess

I have replaced the pump. I hear the buzzing noise, again. So I know the pump is working. But I still can't get the scooter to start. It cranks for a little and dies. It must be the injector has gotten some debris from the old fuel filter into it. What do you think? Or do you recommend something else?

Injector has debris& is plugged up,,,, take the injector off and blow it out with high pressure air if you have it,,, also see if there's an inline filter,,, if thats clogged it might not be passing fuel

Getting close now,,, almost done,,,,, also double check the injector electrical plug it may not be seated correctly

I have the injector off. But there is no fuel in the fuel line. It took me many days of putting penetrating oil on the bolt to remove the fuel Injector. I connected the electrical to see if it was opening. I hear the pump turning on. But there is no fuel coming in the fuel line. Can it be a vacuum issue or the is overcoming the head to push fuel out of the tank into the fuel line. What do you think?
