Well, ellpee's Roketa has found a new home in Yuma, AZ, no more two-wheeling for me. Still pondering whether bringing the Magnum trike over to Tucson from Ruidoso is a good idea (have to get my wife comfortable with the idea first). Meanwhile, if anyone in the Tucson area can use a serviceable 9Ah battery for Roketa and similar, let me know; I forgot to give it to the new owner, and have no use for it myself. Will still be lurking around this classroom, though, many lessons to be learned that will transfer to any scooter.

ellpee, how did you manage to sell your scooter? I plan to do the same with mine, whether running or not. Still working to fix that idle and other things. Then will know if running or not is the end for me.
Are you now feeling much better physically?

Well ok ellpee,so it is "RIP" Roketa --and sure you should bring the 3 wheeler with you --don't want to lose your riding pleasure--tell your wife we say it is ok--you are a responsible safe rider--surely everyone is with you on this--good luck--and bobf is wondering ,same as me,how did you sell the Roketa? and happy trails, fflintstone

Roketa sold on CraigsList, guy drove three hours from Yuma to pay full asking price, but I had a number of classic CraigsList scam attempts as well. CL is great, but FULL of nogoodniks, you have to be very careful. And yes, feeling better after a month. Ribs seems to be healing, that was the most painful part; back is at worst a dull ache, looking at another month or so in the brace, thereafter TBD.

Thanks ellpee. Will give that a consideration when ready to sell. Would like to get it to run if I can, then get gone.

Thanks again ellpee. I have never used either source before, but worth a try at least. I might also try a local newspaper add for a week too.

Just watch out for scams. Anybody who won't show up, at your door, in person, with cash in hand, ready to negotiate, is suspect. Any mention of cashier's checks, Western Union, etc., run, don't walk, in the other direction.
