Ok JR found the problem the black/white wire is not connecting properly onto the CDI an easy fix woohoooo Just a tap of the start button she starts up straight away love it !! i need to tidy up all these wires now its a mess lol and need to buy some bullet connectors as i have some wires covered up where they splice with electrical tape

Awesome! Yes fix all the wires, insulate your connectors and zip tie things up where they stay in place. Also do a charging voltage test.
Using your volt meter set on DC volts at 20 volt setting or higher, start the ATV and check the voltage across the battery with it idling, then rev it up and check the voltage across the battery again, it should be higher than at idle.

Each pin on both both terminals ? Also I still have couple wires coming from handlebar kill switch that are taped over I think they maybe for the lights etc unsure @ the moment what Colors those are as its late night right now but can I get back to you on those coloured wires might as well have lights connected and rear break light what do you think or should we not worry ?

Yes most volt meters have a black lead and a red lead, put the black on the negative terminal the red on the positive terminal. Set your volt meter to a setting of 20 or higher on the DC side.
Start the ATV, and take note of the voltage reading with the ATV just idling. Then with your meter still up rev the engine up a bit and see if the voltage reading on your meter goes up? If it does this tells us the stator is putting out and the R/R is good. We would love to have a reading above 12Vdc with it idling and above 13Vdc with it revved up.
On the brake lights and head lights it's not problem to wire them, your call.

Could be something as simple as the battery cable not making good contact. Does the solenoid relay click or even make a sound? Remember chasing electrical gremlins is a process of elimination. You start with making sure you have a good 12 volts on the battery, then check the battery cables and connections then the fuse. Remember these Chinese fuse holders aren't the best in fact a lot of people replace them with a good quality blade type fuse holder.
Also just because a fuse looks good doesn't mean it is test it. If you have no voltage after the fuse the machine is dead. Next step is checking the key switch and then so on.
Very common to mess up a connection when tying up the harness, take a break, enjoy a beverage and go back with a fresh mind. You will find it.

Solenoid not clicking or anything ? Its ok JR found the cause... When i was using the bullet connectors some wires were loose etc so i have decided to solder every connection needed as this will take time but at least i know the connections will be fine

Took the quad for a run today JR she's going auwsome kids are so happy and me to lol but there is a little bit of smoke coming out or off the cylinder head is this normal when she's at working temperature ?As its kinda new (rebuilt) also smoke not much coming from the exhaust where it connects to the engine but there is no gasket in there so I have ordered a new 1. Making popping sounds when accelerating Any ideas JR ? And I bought a torque wrench today

Running exhaust with no gasket is a no no, risk burning a exhaust valve. Shut it down until gasket arrives, this is also a possible source of the popping. Need to recheck the valve clearances now that you've got her running.
Also let's go over exactly how to fine tune adjust the carb another possible source of the popping. You may get a little smoke until the rings set good, keep a check on the oil level. Also while she is breaking in it's good to run it at variable speeds and certainly not wide open all the time at first again want to set those new rings. If you still have smoke after putting in the gasket then let me know. Need to check these things and while I know the kids will be disappointed with it shut down temporarily it's be worth it when you have it running perfect for them.
Also when the torque wrench arrives re-check the head bolts/nuts.

Ok JR thank you for the info will do as you say cheers Do you have any ideas for the head bolts(torque settings)? i forgot to mention before i did a carby tune it was not making the popping sound when accelerating also has no gasket at the moment where the exhaust meets the cylinder but after fine tunning the carby thats when it started to pop if you understand so may be me doing the carby tune has made it pop and here is the video i watched and did the exact has he has explained Also i found these torque settings for head bolts/nuts does this look correct to you ?
