Hi all...I keep having to replace the gasket between the head & exhaust pipe on my yamaha 260cc clone....they only seem to last for maybe 200 miles & thats it....I just ordered 2 different ones from partsforscooters & have already used both of the,,,one was like a gasket material with a aluminum center & the other was like aluminum & asbestos I think & there both already junk....The exhaust will be quite for maybe 100 miles the start leaking,but by 125 miles its load & when I take it apart the gasket is not even there.....I found some for a honda,but there 40mm I know the ones Ive been using are 38mm with a little play,I'm wonder if a 40mm will fit....here is the ebay link..hope you can all help me get a better quality one.....Bob

I just ordered the one from scooterparts4less for a total of $3 with shipping...Will let you know how long it last...Thanks for the help...Bob

Well,I installed it last week,but have not rode the scoot yet...I actually received 2 exhaust gasket for the $1.50 plus $1.50 shipping...One is like aluminum with manifold gasket material on it (something like a automobile exhaust manifold gasket)
which is the one I installed...The other one that I received is a copper o-ring I guess you could say...I will use that one if the other one fails......I will keep you up to date....

Well,after riding 100-200 miles it seems to be holding up good...No leaking as of yet..I think this maybe the fix...Thanks trailheadmik...I have look on that website,but never found any exhaust manifold gaskets....Again,thanks...Rcq
