What is the current consumption when the scooter is turned off? If I do not rip your battery is discharged after a few days.
Thanks

If everything is in order with the wiring, the only draws should be for the clock and alarm/remote system, if you even have those, and the draw should be minimal. Could deplete the battery over a period of weeks, I suppose, but not a few days. If that's happening repeatedly, time to get out the ol' multimeter and check where the juice is going. Nonetheless, not a bad idea to keep the scooter on a battery tender when not being ridden. Cheap insurance.

also you can raise the seat and disconnect the battery cable--that only takes a few minutes--I decided to do it after that very same problem-battery stays fresh for much longer --

At one point early on I actually wired an on/off switch into the positive cable wire so I didn't have to open the compartment repeatedly. Have since removed that switch, after going the battery tender route.
