Have a question fellas, I'm trying to understand how the cdi box works. Like mine says it's 9000 rpm but my scoot revs out at 6000, now my question is if I'm getting good blue spark at the plug what else does the cdi do other then Rev limiter? This is for my vog 260 by the way.

You have other issues if it will only hit 6k RPM. I have the linhai min my 250B and it'll hit the 9k with no problem at all and I've also never seen a limited CDI on any 250 scooter.
I would look a the variator for a stuck roller and/or the belt along with the clutch. While the VOG also with the 257 linhai is heavier than the 250B it should top out higher than any 6k.
What is your MPH at 6k?

The best I can do is 45 go 50 mph. But since I posted this I found some bad vacuum hoses and valve clearance was good. So hopefully that helps. I also put in new rollers so maybe the clutch?

Should my rollers have grease on them because it's got a lot of grease in there.

Ok, so update.. I found some vacuum leaks and fixed them. Scoot idles and runs a lot better. Now on the issue where I said it revs out at 6k I found that if you slowly excelurat it will go all the way to 8 or 9 I didn't take it that far but it will go. So now I'm starting to believe I have some sort of fuel issue weather it be a carb issue or fuel pump. Any input I would appreciate. Thanks so much again.

No the grease is a problem. Chinese grease is sewer grease and gums up. Take variator apart and clen clean and clean. No grease at all. Make sure all rollers freely slide and leave it grease free. Vacuum line to fuel pump is critical.
