I started with a bad shake at take off. i cleaned the variater . I have doc weights in it. I pulled the clutch cleaned the fibers and hub. then put some roach powder on it. I put it all back together. It does fine at high speed 20 mph and up. On take of it acts like it is in a high gear. I know it does not have gears. That is just an explanation of what it is doing. No power at take off.. I have adjusted the valves. They are correct. . The clucth starts pulling at 1'100 rpm. I have to set idle below there so it is not pulling at idle. I have gone through the clutch and variator several times . I put the weight like the chart that doc gives. Anyone got any answers? Thanks for your help

Was gram weights did you put in and what are DOC WEIGHTS?? The Clutch should grab the bell when the RPMS are over 2000 RPMS which is causing the motor to try and move the weight with hardly no power. So something is wrong when you took the clutch off did you check the SPRINGS holding the Clutch pads? The clutch springs may be broken or where they grab may have broken off and they will be thrown out to grab the bell with very little centrifigual force. Alleyoop

The weights are DR. PULLEY 14cm. they are the same one that was in it when i pulled it down. I had the shaking problem. The clutch parts look OK I noticed the belt on the variater move in and out with rpm as it should. The belt where it is in the clutch or back pulley stays the same. the back pulley moves in and out fine when belt is off bike . the spring that pulls it in is strong . it is hard to pull it open to put belt back on. witch is correct. remember the scooter was pulling fine , just jerking until i pulled it down. . it does not shake anymore it just acts like no power at take off. if u take time and get it going it will run fine when u get up past 15 or 20mph. . Thanks a lot for the come back. I hope i answered ok> Ps all springs and everything in back clutch seem ok !!!

Remember that the RPM is measured on the motor, not the clutch. Keeping that in mind, if the variator is not fully seated on the boss, it effectively changes the gear ratio at the clutch. You may be running 900, but the clutch could be running quicker now because the variator is farther out, forcing the drive belt to ride higher. Check the variator area to make sure it is seated correctly.

The belt set all the way in the v on variator. When you increase rpm the belt is moving to the outside of variator. but at the clutch it is staying all the way in the bottom of clutch pulley. I thought it moved out at the clutch as it moved in on variator? Thanks Wheezy

The clutch gets dirt and grime in between the boss and slider disk, causing it to seize and stick. It happened to mine. I had to disassemble the clutch using a 1 and 13/16 inch socket attached to an impact wrench, then cleaned and applied whith lithium grease to the boss and slider disk. There are some videos on Youtube of how to disassemble the clutch.

Something is not right the belt in the Variator should be down and the belt on the Clutch pulley should be near the edge of the pulley like this: Alleyoop To help you out better post pictures use this, it is free and easy to use: PICTURES AND OR VIDEOS OR WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS: 1. Sorry took so long to get back. Thanks for all the information !! I finally got the parts i had ordered. I took the back clutch back a part. it looked good. I went a head and put some molley grease on the shaft and where pulley slides in and out. put it back together. that put it back working . the shake went away. I was having a rattling sound in the back . At first i thought the muffler or brake was rattling, I got down and was looking and both bolts on the brake side that goes to the back of the motor was sheared off. I removed the broken bolts out off the motor case and put harden bolts back in. I'm heavy. iI guess i hit something and broke them. Now everything is really nice. Thanks for your help . It is so nice to have a place like this where people help meach other. Re mines me of older times. Thanks again
