I'm at the 1000-mile point with my Magnum -- Ice Bear, the 276cc engine that claims to be a 300. Want to do a gear oil change and have no clue where the heck the drain and fill plugs are. In addition, this is a CVT-to-chain-to-rear-axle design. I can see that the rear axle has a nipple, grease fitting if you prefer. At 1000 miles, what should I be doing? I've changed the gear oil a couple times on my two-wheel Roketa, but am somewhat at a loss as to what I ought to do with the Magnum, and where to find the appropriate fill/drain connections. Anybody have any pix of that engine/drive train to guide me? Or a link to a user manual?
A COUPLE DAYS LATER: What, nobody? Guess that must be an uncommon engine/CVT combination. I've looked carefully and have just about concluded that draining and refilling the gear oil must require removing the CVT cover, but if anybody knows for sure, by all means let me know.

Thanks, Jim. I looked at that and then went down to the garage to look at my Magnum. Found same situation as DaveC, will PM him about the TWO drain plugs and what he did about that.
