just recently I got a 2011 eagle scooter 150cc. I had to put a new motor in it because the other one was blown. so I got it installed and went to start it, it would not start so I tried to jump the starter relay and nothing, so I ordered a new one thinking that might be the problem. well still nothing with the new one in it. I jumped the new one and it started. it also has a new cdi box too and it is a brand new motor that I put in it. what might it bee? help please

... well still nothing with the new one in it. I jumped the new one and it started. ... This is a bit confusing. Are you saying that with a new starter relay, it would NOT crank normally, i.e., ignition on and hit start button, but it WOULD crank and start if you jumped the new starter relay?

So what your saying is your Electric start does not work. Couple of questions: 1. When you turn the key on do you have lights and gauges work? 2. When you turn the key on and squeeze the Brake do your stop light come on. Alleyoop

Yes I have lights when I turn key on and when I press the brake the light comes on. But when I go to hit the starter switch nothing happens.
