Don't need a chart, got plenty. What I need is a definite answer if this R/R is good. Because I've never had a sure one to compare it to before. This is why I posted the vid with me using the diode setting.

tvnacman.blogspot.com/Do resistance checks put the black lead on the pin the red wire connects . Then the red lead to where the yellow and white wires connect . Post the numbers . John

I made the video using the resistance/diode setting on my meter. So in a way I've already posted the numbers.
The new R/R pins are "unknown". I want to locate the positive & ground pins.
Plus, I wish to know if the R/R is good.
Please, watch video closely & tell me if the R/R is good or not.

You cannot test an R/R/ not connected. You need to test the wires going into it first to see if the stator is feeding the R/R and the wire from the stator and battery are good and they are putting out. Then plug it in like in the Video and see if it is putting out voltage.
So the way your trying to find out if the R/R is bad or good no way to tell. Your testing it the wrong way. Alleyoop

I'll admit I goofed on the test for R/R test, I will forget the proper way out of frustration. ( I can be lost for days sometimes, & make me appear very dumb on the subject, it's humbling to say the least for someone as knowledgeable as myself.)
But I do know there is a test to find the Positive pin, & Ground pin.
If I'm doing that correctly, then the pins are upside down in the R/R. - Plus, I not a fan of that video. He isn't the person I would choose to educate a unknowledgeable person on the subject. His methods are sloppy, doesn't use the proper terms at all times, don't know what color his ground is (green), & he obviously doesn't know about the differences between AC & DC voltages.
Also claims to have rewired. From the video all it looks like he did was repair the Batt. lead, & flip the connector upside down.
Real rewiring at the minimal, is pulling the wires from the connector block & reinstalling them in the corrected order.

Bet you're sorry you asked, since you obviously know way more than anyone who has tried to help. Might consider making your own video.

I do know alot, but part of my disability is; when under stress or in hurry, I lose track or just plain forget some or all of the info needed to do a task. & this has lasted sometimes up to a week.
I don't have the room to "pack-rat" info anymore. (Smaller place now.) As finding digitized info, sometimes is just as bad.
It's very frustraiting indeed. - As for making a video. That could go ether way. You don't want to see me when trying to leave a detailed voice-mail. Been known to redo it up to 9 times, ugh.
